Prince Orion was waiting for us in the room. The king wasn't here yet, most likely doing some work while waiting for us to get ready. He's a busy man.

"Annelise!" Prince Orion waved me over. I went over and sat down next to him since the king was going to sit across from us.

The couch is just as fluffy and soft as the one in my room. Ah sweet bliss..

"Annelise, you brought a knight today?" Prince Orion looks over at Henry, who's simply standing next to me.

"Oh yes, this is Sir Henry, one of the Thornweather's knight commanders." I introduce Prince Orion to Henry.

"Greetings, your majesty." Henry bows.

"Woah..Ah! same to you." Prince Orion says flustered. He leans in next to me.

"Annelise, this guy is like really cool." He whispers, eyeing Henry, who has gone back to standing next to me.

"Yeah?" I whispered back.

"He's so cool." Prince Orion whispers again. I stare at him a little. This guy, love at first sight?

"Yeah, and?" I raise my eyebrow at him, questioningly.

"Ah, well. Could you, um. Maybe lend him to me?" Prince Orion blushes a little. What.

"What? No way. He's my knight. Get your own!" I exclaimed. Prince Orion's too interested in Henry! You already have the heroine, let me have this!

"Does the royal family need more protection?" Henry chuckles.

"No, we don't." Prince Orion shakes his head. He thinks for a moment then suddenly brightens like a lightbulb was switched on.

"OH!" He exclaims.

"You are a knight, Sir Henry. Yes?" He asks. Henry nods. Prince Orion claps his hands together in excitement.

"Then you must come over and guide me! You're a commander of the Thornweathers so you must be exceptionally skilled!" Prince Orion says proudly. Hey, wait!
"Hey! Henry's my knight! Don't hog him yourself!" I butt in.

"Besides, didn't you learn the best from your grandfather, Grand King Richard?" I pointed out. "What best? You can always learn more!" Prince Orion pouts. He reaches over and grasps my hands.

"Annelise, won't you give permission to allow Sir Henry to teach little ol' me? It's not like you need protection at the moment anyway! Sir Henry must be bored just following you around all day! You should let him relax and stretch a little!" He pleads, making his eyes big and innocent. This rascal! Don't guilt-trip me!

"Uhhh. Stop with those weird eyes. I'm not Bella, I won't fall for those tricks!" I cringe and inch away from this weasel.

"But Anneliseee... from the goodness of your heart, won't you let me have this chance? Sir Henry is just too cool!" Prince Orion whines. I roll my eyes at him.

"Whatever. Why don't you just ask Henry yourself? If he is fine with it, I can't stop him." I say.

Prince Orion immediately turns towards Henry, who has been snickering by himself over us.

"Sir Henry! Will do you me the honors of teaching me some of your skills?" He says with shining eyes. Henry seems to think for a moment. He glances at me. Prince Orion follows his gaze and pouts at me. Bruh. I just said it's up to you! I frown at him.

"Stop looking at me like that." I say to him.

"Go ahead and decide Henry. I don't care." I retorted, crossing my arms. He chuckles.

"If my lady says so...." He starts. Prince Orion leans in closer, hanging onto every word.

"It would be my pleasure to work with your majesty. I only hope that my skills are up to par with your expectation." Henry finishes, bowing slightly. Prince Orion woops. I sigh.

"Having fun?" A deep voice suddenly chuckles. We all jump and turn toward the voice. The king is standing in the entryway, smiling at us.
