Hi guys! Thanks for reading my story!

It has been a long time coming. I didn't expect this story to last this long (70 chapters-sheeeesh), but I am happy with how it turned out. I hope you guys enjoyed the story, sorry there were a lot of exposition and stuff, I am still learning how to write better! This is actually the first story I have completely finished so it is quite a neat experience! This also means that this note will be the longest!

I do apologize if the writing feels slow at times or awkward, sometimes I just didn't know how to transition to the next important scene. Annelise being a weakling was always planned, but her many episodes of fainting was not planned. Henry being a flirt at the end was planned, he just never revealed it because he's good at his job (being a knight). I tried to hint it but I ain't the best at romantic stuff. I actually was going to have Prince Circe be a love interest for Mary, but that definitely didn't work out.

Epilogue, extras?

-Sorry, I don't have anything planned. There is plenty of content left to write, but I don't have any desires to write about them. I will try to explain some loose ends that weren't mentioned in the story though! You could say Pt-71 was an epilogue of its own. It is one of the shorter chapters.

-Willowbrooks? 

The Willowbrooks actually worked with Vendia last minute to hold the ambush-specifically Lady Vanessa Willowbrook worked with Prince Astric to orchestrate it. She holds a grudge on Lady Annelise and that is why the arrow incident happened. Did she want Annelise to die? No, but when chaos happens, things go out of hand.

-What happened while Annelise was in the coma? 

Not too much. Vendia attacked. Annelise fainted. They tried to capture Prince Caelum but Princess Echina released him and revoke her title to marry Prince Caelum peacefully. During this scuffle, all of the important characters got attacked or was involved in some sort of action. Bella ended up blocking an arrow from hitting Queen Solana, granting her a title of Ladyship by King Drayden. Since Vendia had the castle surrounded, King Drayden had to listen to Prince Astric's demands. Luckily this story isn't serious so all they wanted was better terms to aid in the war recovery process. Willowbrooks wanted the same since they were the ones that got the most damage. King Drayden isn't evil and since Vendia is allying with Elden through the marriage of Princess Echina and Prince Caelum, terms had to be adjusted to reflect the new friendship.

What's up with the secret garden?

Well, I wanted to have a romantic date for Annelise and Henry but that didn't turn out. I will say that Vendia was able to use this secret garden to hide their soldiers, allowing them to surround the castle in the ambush, so the secret garden ended up being useful (though it wasn't mentioned in the story).

What happened to the whole fake lovers thing?

Well, similar to the secret garden, it just didn't work out. Annelise's personality wouldn't have allowed it and since the story isn't too serious, it just didn't make much sense, but since I already wrote those chapters and released them, I had to write it out (shrug).

What's with the horse competition?

Well, I actually don't know. I had originally set it up so that Prince Orion would save the king or fight off Vendia's ambush-performing the act of nobility, but his personality didn't end up making that work, so I drafted the whole horse competition on the spot. Bella was always going to be the op protagonist so Annelise expecting her to win was a no brainer. She was going to showcase her op-ness in other ways if the horse competition didn't happen.

-I will say that the whole horse competition increased the chapter amount by like 20 or so, this story would have been much shorter if we didn't have it.

What's up with the lame title- Villainess Loves?

Well, I dunno. I'm not great at naming things. It took me forever to decide on Annelise's name. Mary and Henry was easy since I wanted their names to be super generic because they're servants.
