the pyrus dragon safely lands onto the dock with his human passengers.

drago steps onto the wooden boardwalk letting them hop off quickly just in time for hydrous to harshly step onto the bridge himself and instantly blow an attack on his fierce opponent.

but dragonoid was quick enough to doge it by setting his hands in front of his face before attacking back with a firey beam.

"what's wrong with it? it's like he's gone mad!" mirror mag exclaimed. "i've never seen any bakugan act like that..!"

"i'm not too sure, i think it might have something to do with the new corecell." dan explained as he focused on the battle. "he was probably infected with the virus on it while our friends were taken away.. how that happened? i dunno. this must be more serious than i thought.."

but the black haired beside him did know how this happened. obviously this was all tiko's doing. the mischievous bakugan most likely sent an infected hydrous to take him by force for whatever devious tactics he had planned.

and his guess would be correct.

the blue and yellow like bakugan fiercely roared before running up and pouncing on drago, slashing his face a few times with his bared lion claws.

drago groans attempting to blast him again but was luckily saved by nillious pushing him off and sending an equally damaging blow.

"new corecell? infection?" all this new information confused the mirrored elder for sure. he tapped his chin. "what does all that even mean?"

"enough with the questions already, can't you see there's no time for explanations?!" the real magnus growled. "you have a bakugan don't you? make yourself useful and help us!"

mirror magnus flinched at his opposite's aggressive command as he patted his cloak pockets for his bakugan partner. "uhm, okay!.. no need to be so bossy though.."

magnus shook his head annoyed and watched as the elders partner was then rolled out with him yelling, "bakugan brawl!" revealing his haos nillious. once in the battlefield, mirror magnus shouted: "nillious! blinding light!"

mirror nillious instantly cooperated in his partner's command and a powerful ray of light was summoned from his hands and shot at the darkened hydrous which in turn caused him to go blind temporarily. the lion roared and stepped back trying to attack the two headed dragon back but missed by a long shot.

"how's that for helping out?" mirror mag grinned at magnus who scoffed in response and turned his attention to the battle.

he raised his hand at their disoriented opponent "now's our chance nillious! mouth of dark fire!"

darkus nillious growled in comprehension and shot the attack causing hydrous to yell in pain as it was all they needed for him to go down. light emitted from the creature and he dropped to the floor in ball form.

due to the positive outcome, dan jumped in victory "yeah, we did it! you guys were awesome out there!" he said to the bakugan who should have been proud of themselves. "you two did great as well!" now referring to the two older boys. " there's one thing you two have in common, you're both great brawlers!"

magnus smugly smirked in response already knowing that while mirror mag began to tear up in happiness. "oh my gosh, you think im a great brawler?!" he cried and pulled dan into a hug. "oh thank you danny!"
