episode 11

the next morning magnus woke up to his sister shaking him awake. quietly groaning and opening his eyes he's met catching sight of her

"big bro get up! there's a bunch of weird people outside" she said which catches the boys attention as he sits up rubbing his eyes

"what?" he gets up, walking to his bedroom window as he slips his coat on and sure enough there was a huge group of people surrounding their home. specifically children

after getting changed, magnus walks out with his sister following close and some kids squeal at the sight of him getting closer

one girl hugs his side and as he tries to push her off he yells "what is going on here?! who are you people?!"

"we're just huuuuge fans of the awesome ones" another girl says, she holds her phone to his face as she records "and we just wanted to know if it's true you're part of them now?"

"well yeah but, how did you find out?" he asked. it's only been a day so his confusion was understandable

"lia already posted about it on her media" the girl said beginning to scroll through her phone "look" she held it out for magnus to see and as he narrowed his eyes to the text, sure enough there was a post already by lia venegas which read:

'wow, cant believe magnus is part of the ao now!'

magnus sighed. he could smell the sarcasm through that post. clearly knowing how crazy their fanbase was it's clear she did it just to spite him

and lord did he hate how clever that was

"so it is true! you're a member of the awesome ones?" another boy from the front of the crowd exclaimed "woah, that is just so cool" commotion ensued as the crowd flooded magnus with attention and piled around him. as everyone asked him stuff and begged him for autographs, he forced a smile and mentally cursed himself for not thinking this part through

the ao were beyond popular so of course the news of a new member would drive their crazy fanbase of same year kids over the rails in excitement. but he didn't expect it to this extent

"emily, go inside and lock all the doors and windows" magnus whispered as he finally got some girls to cling off of him

"ok" she whispered back with a smile "have a nice day by the way. i love you and don't do anything too dangerous"

magnus smiled back and patted her head walking off once she did as told, the group of ao fans following.

"so what's it like being part of the awesome ones?"

"does the exit know you're a part of the group now?"

"i thought you hated them"

"is there any way i can join?"

all throught the walk to studio d, fans were latched onto magnus like metal to a magnet asking questions he never answered that by the time he got there he had to rush in and quickly slam the door, locking and leaning against it.

the rest of the group was sitting on the couch talking and the noise of the door slamming made them look up to see a distressed and out of breath magnus

he composed himself and locked eyes with lia who was already smirking

"why couldn't you have just waited a few days to announce me joining?!" the older boy growled

"not sure, guess i was just too excited to wait" she shrugged "i hope you didn't mind"

"didn't mind?!" magnus shrieked. "you're crazy fans were all over me! how did they even find out where i live?!"

"i guess when you have a huge fanbase they can find out anything" wynton said and he turns to lia with the same devilish smile as her

"okaay," magnus said half lidding his eyes twords the duo "but how do you put up with such a devoted crowd?"

"over time the craze kinda just died out" dan said "we're old news at this point so for a while people are gonna be all over you"

"until, eventually, people will just grow tired and move on" shun said

"and i sure hope that happens soon" wynton whispers to lia and the two quietly giggled at that

"magnus is right though," dan said turning to his blue haired friend "you really should have waited a bit before making it public"

"waited? and for what?" lia asked crossing her arms and sitting back "i did magnus a favor, one of us could have said something or everyone would have just found out themselves"

"so unless you had some kind of bold idea to tell the world, i don't see harm in what i did"

"actually, i did have a pretty good idea of how to tell everyone" dan said, a smile forming as he walked up to the teen and grabbed his wrist starting to drag him outside and grabbing lia's camera on the way

"what are you doing kouzo?" magnus asked once they were outside

"only what i had in mind ever since you accepted my request" he said and held out the camera "we're filming an introductory video"
