the boy he's always wanted a fair friendship with was finally joining, it made dan giddy with excitement it was surprising he was able to contain it all.

"... okay," dan said. "in that case you're i- aack!"

"hold it, buster!" lia interfered, grabbing dan's ear and pushing him away from magnus it made him shriek with pain. "excuse us again magnus but we need to have a word with dan"

magnus blinked, she could have just said what she wanted right then and there.

"alone." the haos girl clarified.

"fine then, suit yourself." magnus shrugged and walked off, lightning and emily followed and as lia dragged dan inside she caught the dog behind emily's tracks, wagging his tail for he liked her pats

"ah lightning, you're part of the ao too so get over here!" lia demanded making the bulldog whine but he obliges and ran back inside.

once indoors, wynton shut the door. lia let dan go and he whimpered rubbing his ear as he sat down on the couch

"are you still going with this amazing idea of yours?" lia sighed standing over him. the 'amazing' part was sarcastic, she hated this idea more than anything.

"magnus is not joining, dan" wynton added. "and for the record you never asked us how we felt about having him in, dude"

"well i knew this would be the kind of feedback i'd get so i never said anything to you." dan replied, arms crossed annoyed. "so can we please just have him in? pleeeeeease?"

"no!" wynton yelled. "that dude's trouble and the fact that he so changed his mind and comes back after insulting us seems kinda fishy to me"

"yeah, my gut tells me he's up to something" lia looked over to both siblings that waited outside "and you know what they say about listening to your gut" she said

"well your gut is most likely acting funky because you're probably on your..." dan didn't finish that knowing lia would most likely beat him up with how short temper she could sometimes be

"on my.. what?" lia didn't get it

"nevermind! but how do you guys know he's not trying to change his ways, huh? magnus isn't bad, i've seen it! everything he's done was probably a part of aaanimus' antics but he doesn't work for them anymore so he's most likely trying to redeem himself," the red streaked boy stood up looking at both his doubtful friends "he has no where to go, just trust me and let him be a part of us"

"this could all just be a trick, we don't know if he's still a part of the exit!" wynton said, his eyes dart at shun who was lost in his thoughts like always "right shun? you think magnus is evil too huh?"

that snapped the younger of the three out of it, "um, uh..." he didn't even know what to say, all eyes were on him, with expectence of him to say something smart it made him more nervous. "im not sure!"

"god this entire argument is so stupid not even shun knows what to say"

"are you calling me stupid dan?"

"well you're the smart one, maybe you should figure that out"

"dude! you're the stupid one for wanting literal evil in our crew"

"for the love of god wynton, he's not evil!"

"you don't know that"

"shut up lia!"

their bickering continued, their extremely loud argument could be heard from outside. emily sat underneath a tree with her brother by her side, his arms were crossed as he listened in to their murmered fighting

"are you sure they'll even let you in big bro?" emily asked

"dunno," magnus shrugged. he knew that they would all end up agreeing though so he narrowed his eyes and smiled evilly "we'll just have to wait and see"
