once fully edited, dan posted the video and after uploading he refreshed the page constantly watching the views spiral upwards and the number of comments increase. seeing the positive feedback given by their fans honestly made him proud, it seemed like they were all just as happy to have magnus in as he was

"wow magnus, the fans love you" dan said "the video's already got about one hundred likes, and it's only been 5 minutes!"

"comments are pouring in as well" shun said handing his phone to the older brawler on the couch

on screen was the comment section of the video, scrolling through it magnus read some of the nice words left by their fans, shun reading as well over his shoulder

cookiegirl2: lol nillious really destroyed that pegatrix

random_brawler: i want to see magnus battle against lightning!

ventuschu: is that magnus' new outfit? because if it is, he looks so cool!

omgpandii: @ventuschu you mean cute, right :) ?

magnus exhaled through his nose after reading that last one "they're already complimenting me too" he said

"oh, lemme see" dan extended his arm and shun's blue cased phone was handed to him by magnus. his eyes land on the comment magnus was talking about and he too shares the same reaction "well, they're not wrong"

"..." shun and magnus looked at each other. it only took the pyrus brawler a couple seconds before his confident smile fades and he realizes what he had just said

"w-wait, no! I didn't mean to say it like that! it was a joke!" he covers his embarrassed face leaving both boys to laugh "well the cute part wasn't a jo- i mean! you've got attractive features and.."

"you see what i mean," shun whispered "he doesn't even notice the things he says about you until it's too late"

magnus smiles 'how stupid for me is this kid?'

"don't stress yourself out dan, i get what you mean" magnus said

dan uncovers his blue eyes "seriously?"

magnus stood up and walked by him as he talked "friends complement each other all the time and that's what we are, right?" he pulls him into a side hug "just a couple of buddies calling each other cute and whatnot" dan blushed a little before laughing "yeah i guess" he said, sighing relieved this was the conclusion magnus got from it.

"well, i had a good time but i gotta get going" magnus said letting go of dan as he grabbed his coat from the big green couch

"aw, so soon?" kazami asked

"yeah, i don't wanna leave emily waiting too long"

"... you really care about your sister, huh." shun noted

magnus nodded, he didn't notice the sad glint in the other's eyes.

"but it's only 3 and you've already left her alone plenty of times" dan whined, "stay a little"

"and what for?" shun asked "we already filmed the video"

"i know but i was thinking we could hang out, just the three of us" the red streaked boy said as he got up and stood in between the two "lia and wynton left early so with them gone, how does a stroll through town sound? it'll be fun!"

"i think it sounds great but," shun looked up at their newest recruit after saying that "we should respect magnus' decision and let him go home to his little sister, you and i could-"

"i think it sounds great too" magnus said.

the boy wasn't here to have fun but he did record that video out of his own will so what harm would "hanging out" with dan and shun do? besides deepening unmeaningful relationships of course

"huh? but what about emily?" shun asked

"i'll call her to see how she's doing and besides, dan's right. i've left her alone so many times to the point where she can take care of herself so.. i'm sure she'll be okay" magnus said with a smile but deep down, he worried a bit.

"haha, yes!" dan happily said pumping his fist and overall excited to spend more time with magnus. his excitement was picked up by the other two who smiled at each other

dan walked over to the door after shutting off his laptop "well then what are waiting for? let's get going" however opening the door was a mistake because as soon as he did a couple fans rush inside and swarm the darkus brawler, the same girl from that morning hugs magnus' side as he sighs frustrated "this is gunna be a problem" magnus groaned
