"hi uncle ethan. im sorry i couldnt greet you well last night." kea said as he hugged his hybrid uncle as he also likewise nodded in greeting to his uncles shane and cade.
"its okay. i know your mate needs you more than we do. we came just moments before you arrived actually so we stayed overnight. the twins, im sure are now wreaking havok over some meetings with our acquaintances overseas since your mom needs us here for his vitamins." ethan said gesturing for shane which the other nodded in agreement.
"im sure they can manage well." kea replied hiding his disgust over his mom vitamins. he knew very well what is it since his moms taking it the same month every year. hes a bit worried though. his mom can walk because of their help but his mom shows some signs of rejection over it as shown through his limping. it might not be a forever solution to his moms condition but his moms done so much for the pack than any of its luna did before him. him being human at that, the first of this packs history. the omegas and women adored him and the pups run to him like magnets. the warriors even bow before him, not because hes mated to a royal but of his own contribution to the pack and the packs stability. kea only hopes that he could at least accomplish what his father expected of him for this pack and its future. otherwise hell have grannie gulf to answer to.
"yeah, i just hope they wont kill another one of the members on the spot if arius temper go haywire. it doesnt sit well to the group given that their numbers are dwindling little by little due to treacherous deeds." shane said combing his hair in disbelief of his sons short temper.
"we will not be long, nephew. we need to get going to supervise those rascals. by the way," ethan paused, "we looked into your mates father. apparently, him and his bimbo partner got tangled up with a mafia owned loan company. since its up our alley, we got your mates back on this. expect a constant contact from us, okay?" he taps kealohas shoulder in an act of assurance.
"thanks a lot uncle ethan."
"no problem. call on us whenever, okay? its about time we have some fun in this family. its so peaceful. im craving chaos nowadays, my mates having a hard time keeping up with me." ethan chuckled at that. it was indeed peaceful in the family for several years until liam came. "bye for now." he hugged kea as a goodbye for now and proceded to climb on their own armored cars.
as they disappeared, kea went to the kitchen to find something to eat since he didnt have anything to eat after that little incident earlier. speaking of, kea knows that liam was handed over to alpha leons pack as payment for his father debt. it was stated on the file from his father handed to him on their way to that pathetic pack but it never occured to him that the victim would turn out to be his mate.
