In this modern world the human species are divulged into three categories according to their biological structure. There are Alphas, Betas and Omegas. Alphas - mostly men, almost 60 % of the population, who are often dominant in fashion, they are able to impregnate Omegas. There are Betas – subordinate to Alphas – who don't have any differentating characteristics, who have "normal" human anatomy and are 30% of the population. And, finally, there are Omegas, mostly women, barely 10% of the population, who can get pregnant and go into heat tend to be caring, nurturing, submissive and compliant and who are rare and prized for their uniqueness.

Most Alphas can only dream of mating with an Omega, and Cassie is no exception - her Alpha father is very protective over her and her mother who is also an Omega, so Cassie is still not mated and haven't even had her first heat; she spends her time studying, reading and doing all those things most Omegas are not fortunate enough to be doing. But then she meets Nathaniel Jacobs - a notorious Alpha mafia boss, who is known to be a cruel and cold-blooded murderer.

Nate used to have an Omega of his own, who was murdered by his enemies, and ever since the mafia boss has been single, fucking every woman he laid his eyes on and feeling no restraint. But then he meets Cassie. And he wants her so bad he will stop at nothing to claim her.
