Chapter 20: Who's Stacy?

I woke up in my bed and I widened my eyes, I slept in the car?

I turned to the other side and saw Liam sleeping with his mouth agape.

I fried some eggs and waited for him to wake up.

"I smell food," he said as he walked into the kitchen, "good morning."

"Good morning," I said with a smile, "where on earth were you yesterday?"

"Your brothers," he said as he shook his head, "apparently I'm constantly with a Davidson."

He pointed at me as he continued to shake his head.

"Cry me a river, boohoo such a horrible life you're living there."

He nodded his head and frowned, as I did the opposite, laughing while shaking my head.

I set the two plates on the study tables and Liam pushed them together so we can sit closer.

I brought out the tea and he got a bag of bread.

We silently ate and once we were done he looked at me, I turned my body completely to face him as he cleared his throat.

"Olivia," he started, "remember when I learned about your secret and said I won't tell on you if you do something?"

I nodded my head, "what do you want me to do?"

"My mom, she calls me loser because she thinks I don't have a girl."

"But you-?" He cut me off.

"They aren't what my mom wants, umm so when I lied to her saying I did have a girlfriend, and this aligned with the same time you appeared."

"So... will you be my girlfriend?"

I choked on my own spit, and looked at him with wide eyes.

"No no not like that, we're friends, good friends... as a fake couple and we won't even do anything, I won't even kiss you! I swear! I'm sorry I even said this, ugh I'm an idiot why did I let Lucy see you!?"

"Calm down, I didn't say I won't be your fake girlfriend."

"You will!" He jumped from his place.

"I didn't say I will be either," I got up to look him in the eyes.

"Dammit you should be a lawyer or something you're good with those mind games."

"What will I gain from helping you?" I questioned as I raised an eyebrow.

I was going to accept, won't lose anything if I do, but I love messing with Liam.

"I won't tell the dean you're Olivia?"

I shook my head, "not quite important anymore."

He looked up as he thought, "you get to meet new people?"

"I already met your sisters yesterday so it's not like I'll meet anyone new."

A moment of silence passed as Liam thought very hard, I could practically hear the gears of his brain turning but I think they jammed because he looked at me in confusion.

"I don't know? How will you accept?" He asked.

"Finally, I thought you'd never ask, you have to buy me pizza, chocolate and take me to your favorite place, oh and I want you to take me to another party!" I listed everything I wanted.

"That's it?" He thought for a second before bringing his hand forward to shake, "deal?"

I shook his hand and said, "deal."
