Chapter 14: Another Interrogation?

I smelled the fresh air, the sanitizer- less one, and it felt great.

"You weren't in jail, you were just in a hospital for one day," Liam said as he passed by me.

"Well it was too long for me," I said as I ran my hand through my wig.

"Where are we going?" Liam asked as we sat in his car.

I leaned back into my seat, and looked at him, "not home obviously, I can't go looking like this."

"So you don't want me to wear a wig and be Lucy?"

I laughed and shook my head, "there would be no need for that."

"Noooo," he said in a high pitched voice, "but I really really really wanted to be Lucy!"

"Girls don't sound like that," I said between laughter.

"Well they sound like that to me," he laughed and started the car.

"So I sound like that?"

He looked at me with widened eyes, "what do you mean Sebastian?"

I widened my eyes looking at him, "I don't know!"

We both burst into laughter and he shook his head, "this is so good."

I nodded my head, "it feels good to have someone to talk to, and laugh with."

He furrowed his eyebrows at me, "What about your school?"

"I don't have many friends there, everyone adored me as my brothers were in the school, they would surround me like bees but once they left, no one even glanced my way... showing their true colors to me, turns out all my besties didn't like me for me," I shook my head at the memory.

"That's harsh, you're a great person and you shouldn't care about them."

"I don't care about them, I just want to graduate so I can go to university," I said.

He looked at me with a smile, "you skipped the whole graduation and are in university now."

I smiled, "yeah I did, well Sebastian did, right now Olivia might not even graduate since she's not attending any classes."

"For what it's worth, Sebastian is probably not going to pass since he's not attending class either."

I smiled at him and nodded my head, "guess I'm failing two people at the same time."

My smile turned into a frown as I thought of what I said, I failed everyone in my life and I can't believe what has life brought me to.

"Hey now don't say that," he shook his head, "you're such an amazing person."

I shook my head and rested my head on the window, watching the trees blur by.

My phone started ringing, ruining my sad song moment. I pulled it out of my pocket and saw Oliver calling.

"Hey olly,"

"Hey loly," I rolled my eyes.

"What's up?" I asked him.

"We kind of stayed the night at moms, when are you coming back from Emily's house?"

"Emily? Her name is Lucy,"

"Oh right, whatever her name is, so when are you coming back?"

"I'm not sure, we just decided to go to eat lunch with a few friends, so I don't think I'll be able to see you."

"Oh it's fine then, we'll stay at the house till you come back," he said.

I raised an eyebrow, "uh sure, I'll see when we'll finish eating and maybe she has an activity in mind, let me check with her and I'll tell you."
