The air in the restaurant suddenly grew thicker as someone walked in, throwing draggers with their eyes. I looked up and saw my brothers.
Liam was unusually silent as they sat down beside us, Noah's eyes not leaving my face.
"Hello," I broke the silence.
Noah looked at Oliver and shook his head, "you didn't tell me he's here."
Oliver shrugged, "you never asked."
"Did you order anything?" David asked as he looked between Liam and Mason.
Mason nodded his head, "yeah we ordered a party meal for eight."
"Great, I'm starving and I could eat for all the eight people," David said as he tapped on his stomach.
"That's why we bought for eight," I said but quickly regretted it as everyone looked at me.
"Why do you know the eating habits of my brother?" Oliver said as he squinted his eyes.
"Did I say I bought the meal specifically for David?" I said as I raised an eyebrow, "we're men, we tend to eat," I shrugged with that as I looked between them.
Mason smiled at nodded his head, "yeah men do eat a lot."
I looked at him in a way to tell him to shut up, and he thankfully followed my silent orders.
Once the pizza arrived, everyone dug in but Liam sat there looking at the slice of pizza Mason put on his plate.
I wanted to say something but it felt so wrong to do that especially in front of my brothers.
Mason tapped on his shoulder and he looked up, he locked his eyes with me for a few seconds before he shook his head. He looked at the pizza slice and picked it up to his mouth.
After one bite, he set it down and silently excusing himself to go to the washroom.
Some glances were thrown his way, but no one made a move to comfort him.
I slightly got up but Mason shook his head, I sat back down and looked at my food, suddenly losing my appetite.
He stood up and walked towards the washrooms, and I was left alone with my brothers.
"So Sebastian, how many siblings do you have?" David asked.
I don't remember how many I told Oliver, oh boy.
"I'm an only child," I said as I looked at my pizza.
"No other siblings?" Noah asked as he put his arm on the table and leaned forward slightly.
"That is the dictionary meaning of it," I said with a smile.
"You're a weird man," David had the audacity to say.
"I...?" I shook my head, "how many siblings do you guys have?"
Oliver looked at the rest and saw no one was responding, "I have four brothers, and a sister."
I nodded my head, "that seems like a fun household."
"Only someone with no siblings would say that," Noah said as he shook his head.
I shrugged as I looked at each of my brothers, "but with more siblings, you get more of a support system, like Drake didn't hurt Oliver when he intervened our fight."
"Yeah I heard of the fight, such a dumb thing to do," Noah commented.
Ethan laughed as he typed on his phone, all of us looked his way only for him to say, "I'm texting."
