Chapter four- Backstory (more detailed)

I see that you have no intention to harm me, so I'll tell you my story.

I was born as the only female in the family, aside from my mother.  Since I am also the youngest, my family had looked down on me. Thus, marking me as the 'mistake' of the family. But, this changed when I turned 3.

My father had been working on something that was meant to be impossible, but he had somehow succeed. Of course with no one to test on, as my elder brothers were 'perfect' and 'one of the heir', he resorted to me, his 'mistake of a daughter'.

He took me into his lab and injected me with his creation. After half an hour or so, I remember my body being in immense pain and blacked out. When I awoke, I had these ears and tail.

After that, I spent 6 years in that lab controlling them. I tried to escape over the years, but failed miserably. This resulted in a restraining collar being put on me.
Of course, they had also been drugging me after that cause they were afraid that I would gain too much strength to break the collar and escape.

Once they had ensure that they can control me and that I can control of my strength, I was forced to help out with the dirty work of my fathers gang.
Yet, this was not put to public. In front of the public eye, I was the 'treasure' of the family, treated like a princess, not knowing that I'm just a useless daughter if not useful as a tool.

That is why I decided to use the opportunity of my 'birthday party' as my chance to escape. It's the only time they would take the collar of my neck but still drug the food with a small dosage to weaken me......which is why I was so famished earlier as I didn't eat the whole time.

About the group that attacked me, they're know as 'The Crystal Turtles'. They specialize in slowing down the opponent and selling crystal meth around, thus earning their title. I've fought them before so I knew most of their tactics, but I didn't think they'd bring any weapons......
