"You're what?!" Mikey exclaimed.
"Right.... I forgot you didn't know" you said. You then popped out your ears and tail while Mikey just stared with wide eyes.
Ignoring Mikey's stare, you continued "Father wanted power, he didn't want anyone else to inherit his throne."
"Then why not settle to killing? I mean, they've already done that, right?" Shinichirou questioned.
"Easier said than done. He wants power, but he also want reputation. What would he do if his kids just suddenly disappear without a trace? The media would suspect him" you replied.
"We're getting off track here" Wakasa lazily said, "right, sorry" you apologized.
"Father started a secret lab where he would test certain things. He would kidnap people and have them drink or get injected with the syrum he invented. He continued this until he was sure he had perfected it, but he didn't want to test it on himself...." you stopped, taking a deep breath, and continued, "...so he resulted to me."
This wasn't much of a surprise to the four, as you had already mentioned this, but it did make them furious. To think a father would use his own child as his test subject is boiling their blood.
"But this was only a stepping stone to his longing wish of immortality. He wanted more, he became even more greedy and power hungry. He used me to act as his bodyguard, to fight as the dark horse.....to kill those he sees not fit......" you quietly said the last part, hoping the four didn't hear it. But they did, they heard it. A gasp was heard from the three adults, not believing you, a 12 year old girl, has killed.
It was silent in the shop as the four were trying to take in the information you've just told them while you were getting mentally ready to be thrown out.
It's been about 10 minutes, the first to break the silence was Shinichirou. "Well then, I guess that just means we'll have to work harder to keep you safe then. Right? Waka? Omi?" Shinichirou asks.
The two were silent, they looked at Shinichirou as if he had gone nuts. The two opened their mouth to say something, only to sigh at the fact that their leader was right, the story only want them to protect the young girl even more.
"Are you kidding?!" Mikey yelled, causing all of you to look at him.
