Chapter six- Siblings

"So what's your siblings like Shinichirou-san?" You asked on the way to his house. You had recovered from your stab wound and is now full of energy.

"You'll know once you get there" he replied with a smile, this made you pout. "Well, can you at least tell me what to expect from them? Or at least a little info?" You pleaded with puppy eyes.

Shinichirou looked at you, then immediately looked straight ahead. "Alright, alright! I'll tell you so stop it with those eyes!" He said. "My lil brother extremely loves taiyaki, and my lil sis is very cute," he said with a smile. "They're my whole world!" You frowned at this, you can't lie that you were jealous of his siblings having such a great brother. All you ever received from your brothers were shitty retorts and torment, none of which had any affection.

"They must be so lucky...." you muttered under your breath.

"What was that?" Shinichirou asked.

"Nothing!" And you started to run ahead.

"Hey! It better not be something bad about me!" He said while chasing you.

"Maybe, maybe not" you replied, you feel so happy right now, you were never able to joke around like this and run around without a care was always what you wanted.

"By the way, you never told me how old you were. You just said that you ran away that day on your birthday." Shinichirou said while catching his breathe.
"I turned 12 that day" you replied.

"Then you're the same age as my brother! I think you guys are gonna get along quite fine" he said with a smile.

"Let's just hope he won't find out about my ears and tail and beg to pet them" you said, remembering what happened soon after you accepted shinichirou's proposal.

Flashback
"Ne ne~, I'm really curious....." Shinichirou started.

"About what?"

"Are your ears and tail.....fluffy?" he asked. Your eyes widened with his question.

"Actually I've been wondering that too." "Same here." Wakasa and Takeomi chimed. "Can we touch them? Please?" They said with puppy eyes.

You couldn't resist those eyes, hesitantly you said "you...can touch them....... I-I mean......it's the least I can do........ at least to thank you for putting up with me."

Almost immediately, all three of them jumped at you.
"They're so soft!!!" They all exclaimed while you try to not let out any sound. "Please....b-be a l-little more....gentle....." you managed to choke out. "M-my ears a-and tails are q-quite sensitive."

Hearing that, the three backed off. "Sorry" they said with a flushed face. "Oh no! I'm sorry for not mentioning sooner." You started to panic. "It's just I don't have my ears and tail out around people often ..... so having people touch it is a bit new to me....." you said, tail swishing out of embarrassment.

The three then chuckled at that response. Then Wakasa said "Sorry, it's also our fault for not considering how you would've felt." After that, you told them how to touch your ears and tail without you feeling uncomfortable. After a few tries, the three got it and enjoyed petting you whilst you were purring (do fox's pur?) at the new warm sensation.

"Don't worry, he probably won't if you don't show him." Shinichirou said. "Speaking of that, we're here."
You look up to see a dojo.

"So you're telling me you live in a dojo, but you can't fight? How does that make sense?" You questioned him. Shinichirou said nothing and just looked away. "Anyways....let's go in, you must be tired" he said, changing the topic.

You two enter the house.

"Tadaima! (I'm home!) Manjirou! Emma!" Shinichirou exclaimed.

"Ojamashimasu! (Excuse me!)" you followed behind.
Soon, two kids, who you think are his siblings, came running and leaped onto Shinichirou, causing him to stumble. "Okaeri Shin-nii!!!" They both exclaimed. "Oh, Shinichirou! Okaerinasai" an old man came and said. "Now who's this behind you?" he added. You hadn't realized, but you had hidden behind Shinichirou.

"Oh! This is the girl I mentioned jīchan." Shinichirou replied. "Konbanwa, my name is y/n" you said bowing.
"Welcome y/n! Shinichirou has already told me your situation, please, feel at home here" the old man said with a sympathetic smile. "Thank you" you said as You rose up from your bowing position.

"Does that mean I get a new sister?!" The girl, which you assume is Shinichirou's little sis, yelled. "You can put it that way" Shinichirou said.

"Eeekkkk!!! I'm Sano Emma, now come on! Let's play!" Emma exclaimed while the boy just looked at me with his pitch black eyes. You feel a little uncomfortable and unintentionally moved more behind Shinichirou.

Shinichirou noticed this and scolded the two. "Oi, Manjirou! Don't just stare! At least introduce yourself, and emma, please keep your voice down."

"Gomen Shin-nii" they both said. After a few seconds, the boy then introduced himself. "Hello. Sorry if I scared you earlier..... I'm Sano Majirou! But you can just call me Mikey."

"Now that you've introduced yourselves, why don't you two go show y/n around the house? I'm sure she would appreciate that." Shinichirou said. "But-" Mikey started only to be cut off, "and you can practice afterwards."

"Ok... n/n, follow us!"Mikey said. "N..../n?" you questioned. "It's my nickname for you! Do you not like it?" Mikey asked with a sad face. "Ah- no! It's just-" you stuttered, you didn't mean to make him upset. "I was just surprised" you finally managed to utter out. "Does that mean you don't hate it?" Mikey asked with glittering eyes. "No....not really," you replied. "Great! Then let's get on with the house tour!" Emma interrupted.

It took around 2 hours for the house tour and you had finally settled in. The only thing that's left is what are you gonna do? Surely you can't just stay here until your family stops looking for you?

As you were lost in your thought, you didn't realize that Shinichirou had snuck up behind you.

Shinichirou pov:
I saw y/n-chan just sitting on the couch spacing out. I called out to her but she didn't respond.
She wore a worried face as well as a scared face . I walked up behind her to try and snap her thought, but I just got thrown over her head.

Third pov:
You were so lost in thought that you didn't realize Shinichirou had been calling out to you. You were only snapped out of your thoughts when you felt a hand suddenly touch you, with your reflex, without thinking, you grabbed the persons hand and threw them over your head locking them with one hand behind their back.

"Ow, ow, ow! Stop y/n-chan! It's me! Shinichirou!" Shinichirou shouted. "Ack! Gomenasai!" You quickly said as you got off him. "Geez, you could've been more gentle..." Shinichirou pouted as he rubbed his wrist to try and ease the pain. "Well it's your fault for sneaking up on me."

"Sorry, it's just that you looked so deep in thought" he started, "do you....perhaps ....wanna talk about it?"
"It's just that I feel like I might be a burden on you guys if I stay for too long. I'm scared that he will find me and hunt you guys down for helping me..." you cried out. For once in your life, you felt fear; not just fear, but emotion.

Shinichirou was stunned, he never thought that the girl who was so on guard would break down like this in front of him. But he was glad, glad that she trusts him enough to open up to him. "It's alright, like I said, me, Waka, Takeomi and the whole Black Dragon will protect you! You have nothing to fear about!" Shinichirou said. "Don't forget about my gang! The Tokyo Maji gang!"  a voice shouted.
