For the next couple weeks, every other day or third day I would have a little excursion with one of my mates to have a date. Somehow we always end up mating with each other. But that was a good thing. We all had a good sex life, which elevated our moods.

When my period came once more, Parker was again antagonizing me to mate with him. I mated with him during my period but not afterword. I still didn't want to give birth too soon.

The weather grew hotter with each day. The city seared underneath the raging sun. The air was bone dry and the air ripples at the hottest places.

I sighed as I gently tugged at my new dress Curtis made me. The spaghetti strap one. It was the most comfortable in these hot days. I leaned against Curtis.

"Kagome!" Harvey called. "I brought you food. Look at what it is."

I turned my head and found him holding a watermelon the size of a beach ball. My eyes widened with happiness.

"A watermelon!" I exclaimed. "My favorite."

"How is it you've seen everything before?" Harvey chuckled at me, then sat down next to me. "I wanted to surprise you but oh well."

He ripped the melon in half, then cut into triangle slices with his claws. He handed me a piece and I ate it in delight.

"Ate up. Parker brought up to more for the family." Harvey smiled. I nodded, sighing with bliss. After two pieces, I could feel myself already become full.

"You should eat some too. Don't just watch me eat." I told them. Harvey shook his head.

"This melon is rare. You should eat it." He told me.

"I can't finish this by myself, and it'll rot. Just eat it and don't waste food." I scolded both of them. Curtis and Harvey both had a piece, loving the flavor. "Oh right, where's Winston. Leave him some too."

"He should be in the fields." Harvey told me.

"Okay after we finish up, we should go and give him some." I smiled.

Curtis said he was tired today so he was going to rest upstairs. So it was just Harvey and I walking to the fields. The children were playing behind the castle with Sango, Miroku, Inuyasha, Muir and Shuu as guards. I sighed with relief seeing them having a good time. I held the watermelon piece for Winston in one hand while I held Harvey's hand in the other.

"Winston!" I called as we neared the rice patty fields. He turned around, looking at me. "We brought you some food!" I smiled.

We all sat down, Winston taking a deserved break. I handed him the watermelon, which he ate with happiness. His tail wagging to show it. I knelt behind him, gently messaging his shoulders. I heard him softly groan with approval as he ate. After I gave him a good message, I wrapped my arms around him and leaned on his back.

"It's so hot. Will everyone and the rice be okay?" I asked Winston. It was slightly hotter than last time.

"It will be fine. We should be able to harvest it in two days." Winston told me. "And we males are not bothered much by this. It's also nice that there is no rain since the rice could drown."

"Yeah." I nodded before letting him go. I sat in between Harvey and Winston, holding each of their hands. Winston blushed at this.

"It's hot, you two should head back." He told me.

"It's fine. I still want to find some other fruit." I said. "Have you two seen any small purple fruit that grows in clusters? It has vines." I asked them. "Oh, and some are green. The skin is smooth and shiny."
