Chapter 26

      I slowly sat up, sore as hell. Lanze was laying next to me with a happy face. I shook my head and kissed his nose.

     "You are secretly cunning." I smirked at him.

     "Maybe." He chuckled. "Let's send you back up. It's time for you to eat. We can have you or the baby hungry."

     When we surfaced, I could already feel the coldness of the outside. Since out family didn't have many heavy furs, the females of our pack had to stay inside while the males prepared for the winter. Curtis was busy making the girls and I some clothes. Lyell was making my mother's clothes. Curtis said he would make Inukimi something as well, only until he slept and for future, only until she found a male.

      "You gained some weight." Curtis said as he measured me. "Mostly in the breasts."

     "Well duh, I only like carrying I don't know how many pounds of milk." I snickered.

      That afternoon, I heard a roar echo in the air. My ears picked it up, then I looked to Winston. He told me to climb onto his back as we went into the middle of the village. I immediately picked up some familiar scents. My eyes widened as I told Winston to go faster. We were soon there with many people hovering around.

      "Mother! Father!" I screamed as I jumped off Winston's back and ran over to four familiar faces. I immediately embraced them, nuzzling them.

      "Kagome, do you know these people?" William asked.

      "Yes, I do." I smiled. "Mother! Father! I want you to meet the chieftain of this tribe, William. William, this is the Leopard King and his mate, Shira and the Wolf King and his mate, Anna." I introduced. "I'm mated to their sons, so they are basically my mother and father. I cherish them dearly."

      "Oh, my!" William exclaimed before bowing his head. "The Leopard, Wolf and Tiger Kings all in one place. I can't say how happy we are to have you."

     "It's drier here than at the city." The Leopard king mentioned.

     "It is." I nodded. "Mothers, would you like to come to our home while Fathers talk to William?"

     "Are you..."

     "Perfectly fine." I smiled. "I'll just let Sesshomaru know we have guests coming and tell Parker and Shuu to prepare more food." Maru, the Leopard king and the wolf king are here with their mates. We are coming home with them. Have Parker and Shuu prepare more.

      Understood. He then cut off the link.

      "Come on." I smiled as I shifted into my dog form. My mothers blinked in surprise. I chuckled as I laid down on my stomach. I helped them up while Winston started to notice a flow of people coming. I leaned my head to his ear.

     "I may or may not sent word that there was homes and food available." I smirked. I licked the side of his face as I stood up. "Have fun. We have plenty of room so..."

     "Kagome?" I heard a familiar voice.

     "Eve!" I called. I had her and her cubs climb aboard while the three females males talked to the chieftain about shelter. I even placed the remaining crystals into Winston's hand. "Maybe that will help." I licked his face once more before I went towards our home. I saw Ah-Un come outside of his stable, looking at my approach. "Hi Ah-Un. I'll send Shen to give you some more fish."

     He whined in happiness before going back into his warm stable.

     "What was that?" Eve asked.
