"The scorpions are here?" I asked, getting into a defensive position.

"It's fine, dear." Winston came over and nuzzled me. "Sesshomaru and I strengthened our defenses. They were discovered as soon as they came close." He handed me the girls and went back to retrieve the large sack. "Here, come eat."

He opened the sack and my eyes immediately widened. I recognized them anywhere. A smile graced my lips as I walked over with the girls. I picked one up in hand.

     "Potatoes!" I exclaimed.

"So that's what stone fruits are called in your world?" Winston smirked.

      I nodded.

"I knew you and your family liked vegetables, so I asked what was season at this time. They told me only spiky fruit and stone fruits were available."

"I love potatoes." I nuzzled Winston. "Thanks, Winston."

"You're welcome." He smiled at me.

"Potatoes are a staple food. You can get full from just boiling one. You can even stir fry or deep fry them in oil. If we grind it up into powder, we can even make noodles or pancakes. We'll have a lot of food from now on." I told them.

"I asked the villagers too. Why didn't they tell me that?" Parker asked as he came back with a snack for Sango and I. Both of us began to munch down, thanks to our pregnancy cravings. My stomach was already beginning to swell.

"Stone fruits only ripen during winter. You probably asked them earlier than that." Winston stated.

I noticed that four other colors beside the regular brown. There were purple, green, red and white. I knew of three other colors but the green ones were new.

"Parker, help me build a potato of every color." I told him.

"No problem. I'll get it done." Parker smiled.

"Winston, take me to where you found the stone fruits. I want to see if they're really potatoes." I looked to Winston. He smiled as he turned into his tiger form. I hopped on his back and I told the pups and cubs to watch Auntir Sango and keep an ear out for grandma.

We were soon out in the snowy village. I could feel my excitement rise with each step.

"Win, how much further?" I asked, burying my face into his fur.

"It's at the edge of the village. Can you hang on for a little longer?" Winston looked up at me.

"I'm fine, dear. You're very stable, so I'm not uncomfortable at all. You still have the softest fur." I mumbled, burying my face further into his fur.

"Hold on then." He smiled, but I could feel his body warm up, probably from blushing.

Ten minutes passed and we arrived to the place where Winston foudn the potatoes. I could see tall bushes with some snow on them. From the faint smell, I could see that they were potato plants. But I couldn't tell which one had the stone fruits.

"Which one has the stone fruits?" I asked him.

"The snow covered up my tracks from this morning, so I have to look for them." Winston told me.

"You can let me down, then." I started to slid of him. As soon as I stepped onto the snow, I sunk in up to my thighs. Winston shifted in to human skin, not noticing me. I noticed that he didn't sink. I looked down to his feet to see he had an improvised version of snow shoes.
