Third Person

At the Reed household, the three wives tango around each other getting ready for the dinner with their daughter and her teacher. Her teacher who is, in fact, their daughter's girlfriend. The revelation came as a surprise, but regardless, they all love Valiana and want to see her happy.

Although Alexandria remains hesitant about the situation, she had Roger conduct a background check on Ms. Jain to alleviate her concerns. The investigation didn't reveal much information about the teacher, but there were some disturbing details regarding her father. She now knows much more about Ms. Jain than her daughter does, thanks to the thorough background check.

Josephine wasn't particularly fond of Alexandria's theatrics, but she rarely questioned her decisions, leaving that task to Elliot. Though she typically obeyed everything her beloved Papito said, gathering information on their daughter's girlfriend felt wrong to her. She voiced her concerns to Alex, but as expected, they fell on deaf ears. Papito had always been fiercely protective of Valiana, ever since she was born. She hated seeing Val upset and blamed herself for the anger she experienced, as she wasn't around much during her daughter's formative years to teach her proper outlets, unlike what she had done for Josie.

In contrast, Elliot was simply excited at the thought of meeting the young woman again. The initial encounter had been an odd one, which she shared with her wives. They suggested the possibility that Deleena could be their daughters submissive and 'little.' However, Elliot wasn't sure if she could entertain such a relationship with Ms. Jain, who was half her age and romantically involved with one of her offsprings. The idea felt foreign to her, so she quickly dismissed it from her thoughts. Ultimately, she was just relieved that Alexandria agreed to let Valia drop out of school. If someone from Clearwater were to discover that their child was involved with a teacher, it would create an undesirable scandal for the family - something they all wanted to avoid.

Valiana gracefully pranced around the kitchen alongside Jeffery, assisting the staff in preparing dinner. Much to her surprise, she discovered a passion for cooking, even though her mothers typically took on that role at home. Jeffery encouraged the young woman to create all of Ms. Jain's favorite dishes. In true Valiana fashion, she was determined to excel in this endeavor, just as she did with everything else in her life. As the clock neared 7 pm, she knew her parents would arrive any minute. She made her way back down the hall and noticed new clothes in the closet of her room, adjacent to Deleena's. Eagerly, she put them on and continued getting ready for the evening.

Valiana had thoughtfully given her girlfriend some time to prepare alone, recognizing that Deleena might feel overwhelmed once her family arrived.

Standing in front of the mirror, Deleena carefully assessed the outfit she had chosen for the evening. She was determined to make a lasting impression. Although she knew Valiana's parents harbored reservations about her relationship with their underage daughter, Deleena's love for Valiana was genuine. This wasn't a game for her. Her feelings for their daughter were real, and she was intent on proving it.

As the doorbell rang, Jeffery exchanges a glance with Valiana and nods, signaling her to answer the door. She wipes her hands clean and makes her way to the entrance to welcome her family. Her father stands there in a suit, while both of her mothers wore matching dresses. They look stunning, and they share the same sentiment about their daughter's appearance.

"Hey, pumpkin," Alex greets warmly, embracing Valiana as though they didn't see each other daily. In reality, they didn't, making the heartfelt hug all the more necessary. Val reciprocates by hugging both of her mothers before waving them inside.
