Valiana

One of my eight-week fast-paced courses starts today. I started three other classes in January, but this one didn't start until March. I can't say I don't miss seeing Ms. Jain at school five days a week. She's there 8 hours a day while I'm at the university. On the plus side, we don't have to worry about her being fired from us being seen together at Clearwater High anymore.

If anybody found out we were dating before I graduated, she'd still be in big trouble, but apart from the note she wrote in my journal on October 18th, there's not much evidence. Besides, I don't believe anybody would be able to get their hands on my journal.

I collide with someone as I'm walking to class and a flurry of papers fly around. "Shit. Watch where you're going," I mutter, frustrated that someone crashed into me and I squat down to clean up the mess on the floor.

"I'm sorry." She kneels as well, "I didn't see you there." When I look up, I see the same brown eyes that I saw inside the den. Her hair has grown out of the bob, and her complexion has darkened slightly, as if she's had a tan. I'm not sure why I recall so many details about her, but the memory of her in that fishnet bodysuit waiting for my girlfriend comes to mind.

"Brooklyn?"

"V... Valiana... r...right?" I smirk comes to my lips at her stutter as her green eyes darken. She hurries to look back at the ground and finish stacking her papers. When I stand, her eyes travel up my body before meeting mine.

I extend my hand to her, and she hesitates before taking it and using it to stand up straight. "Yeah, It's Valiana."

"Right. Sorry for bumping into you. I was texting someone and I was definitely not paying attention to my surroundings." She notices her hand in mine still and pulls it back quickly.

"Are you a student here?" She brushes her hair behind her ear.

"Um, no, I teach here." She goes quiet for a second, and we stare awkwardly at each other. "I've been meaning to text you and apologize, but that would require me to text Deleena to get your number and... Anyways, I was not aware that Deleena was seeing anyone. It was wrong of me to show up at her house with no warning. Especially wearing that."

We both chuckle. "No, you're fine. I'm not really upset about it anymore."

"But you were?" I look at her a little longer. Her cheekbones are high, and her face is bare, no make-up yet not a blemish in sight. She's not unattractive, far from it actually. But it wouldn't be right to call her any more than pretty, seeing as I have a girlfriend, and the beast in me isn't greedily taking over right now. "You were mad. Damn it, I'm sorry. How much heat did I get De in?" I smile that she knows Deleena might have suffered the consequences in that room for her unannounced appearance.

"Not too bad. Nothing she couldn't handle." She smiles and nods.

"Right. That's weird."

I tilt my head. "What is?"

"Deleena having a Dom. She never let any of her subs touch her. Let alone command her. How'd you change that?"

"Why? Are you trying to learn how to command my girlfriend?"

"No," she smiles and chuckles. The sound of her chuckle causes me to smile. "De will always be Mistress and Mommy to me." Her calling Deleena those titles causes a little jealousy to bubble inside me. I never got to call De that. I just... took command of her because it felt natural to just fall into that role. She clears her throat. "Well, class is about to start, and I should probably not show up late to my own course. Nice seeing you again."
