Chapter 29: Back at school

The next day rolls around. I walk inside the school and I immediately get glares and looks on me. I even heard some girls whispering about me. Without looking, I immediately got a punch to the face and was knocked back for a bit. I was on the ground and I had my eyes closed after wondering what just happened. Everyone looked at us and pull out their phones. I opens my eyes to see Devin with tears running down his face and his fists closed.

"You did it, didn't you?" -Devin said

Wha-! -I said. I was punched in the face again.

"You didn't see the news haven't you?! Aaron is dead!" -Devin shouted

I did saw the news man! Why are you hurting me?! -I asked

"You was always with Aaron, He stopped bullying you thanks to you being all sweet and shit! Now he is gone thanks to you!" -Devin said

Maybe he had enough of bullying me and other people Devin! -I shouted

"He is my childhood friend, there is no way he would stop this easily! You manipulated him!" -Devin said

He still continued on punching me, it hurts and I couldn't use my ability just yet. This had went on until breakfast was over and the security guards finally ran up to him to let me go. He was later dragged to the principal's office. I, on the other hand, went to the nurse's office. I see Talia looking at me and immediately bandages me up. Since I didn't get stabbed, I couldn't heal myself, I guess that is one downside to regeneration.

"What happened this time?" -Talia asked

I got beaten up. Don't worry, I'll be fine. -I said

"Should I check your face?" -Talia asked

No thanks, you didn't need to do that. - I said

After some time, I left the nurse's office and went to my first class. I was unfortunately late by a few minutes and the teacher already looked at me as soon as I knocked on the door and she let me in.

"Pass?" -The teacher asked. She put her hand out for me to put the hall pass in. After I gave her the hall pass, she let me in and I sat down.

"Now then. I'm sure you know about what happened earlier, but there is no need to talk about it in my class. Resume class like it never happened." -The teacher said in a monotone voice. During the school day, I see everyone still looking at me. It was starting to be weird now, guess it makes sense if you actually WAS on the news. It is horrible to look at. Until when the news reporter found out it was me, I probably would get send to jail or maybe death.

During lunch, it has turned from me getting bullied by 5 people in total to 50 to 300 students bullying me, including the 3 girls and Devin. Seems to be everyone is starting to not like me now, hell it feels like Aaron is a popular kid and Scarlet is only a rich kid that only like her for cash and nothing else. I am gonna admit, I'm not really a huge fan of rich people due to them flexing and worse, using their money for things that can actually harm someone or something, like bailing out a wanted criminal. But one thing I hate the most about, is when people use THEM for money, even if it's just a normal kid. I feel it, as it just shows people can do literally anything for cash.

I didn't think about it and walked home. As I was walking home, I was healing myself in the process and done my daily eating. I was still thinking about the rich kid problem but not often as I did in school. Until I heard some familiar voices, it was some of the new bullies following me. I was about ready to walk home when I got grabbed by the shirt and was pushed down to the concrete.
