Throughout the summer, all I did was train myself, eating people that does bad things, talk to some people and blast some electronic music from my guitar. I was trying and improving on it. Apparently, some people actually like the music I am playing and started to tell everyone about it without me knowing.
A few weeks later, I found out someone heard my music was due to people talking about music being played in my room. I always have my axe on my back so it will be easier to prepare for myself and play music as time goes by. One of the vampires came up to me and ask me if I can play some music. I was a bit confused about it until a lot of other people show up and ask me the same thing.
Finally, I pull out my axe and started to play some music. I brought in a small crowd at first, a lot more people hear it and started to join in. I had to use a table to stand up from so people don't hit me or make me fall off. I actually was having fun blasting music to a bunch of other monsters who actually like my music.
It slowly became a normal thing every two weeks that I would play for fun until I would try and make myself some songs. A couple about my past life, a couple about bullying and a couple of mafias. One of my favorite tracks I played was 'You don't need too much money'.
After some time, summer was over and college was about to start. I was given a address of the college and I put my mask on and left. Of course, I waved everyone good bye for now since I didn't actually bought a dorm room.
I was waiting at the administration office, waiting to be fully registered. Finally it was my turn. I have my backpack with me with everything in it I need.
"Your name and registration please?" -The Clerk said
I pulled out my registration papers that showed I applied and the classes I selected. She looks at them and then looks up at me.
Jayla, Jayla ALT -I said
"Alright then, the principal's office is over there. You can see the principal and understand some rules and your schedule." -The Clerk said
She hands me my papers and I went to the principal's office. I knock on the door and I was let in. As soon as I see the principal, I already feel like something is wrong here.
"Ah, you are the person who applied here correct?" -The principal said
Yes sir, do you need my papers? -I asked
I was about to hand him my papers when he put them back to me.
"There is no need for that, since you are already accepted here." -The principal said
I put my backpack down and opened it. I grabbed a folder and put the papers in the folder and put it back in my backpack. After I got everything, I closed my backpack and put it on my back.
"Now, your name is Jayla ALT, right?" -The principal said
Yep, that's me. What about it? -I asked
"You only applied for 3 classes? What are they?" -He asked
Music, swimming and biology/health. Do I need to apply for other classes Sir? -I asked
"No, no. I'm just wondering why?" -He said
I'm already well enough of all other classes except health or biology. Plus I wanted to do other try out music and do some swimming. -I said, still confused
"Well, if that is what are you saying then sure thing." -The principal finished by giving me my schedule.
After I got my schedule, I was given another rule book and the history of the university. Finally, I went to the auditorium and sat down.
After a hour, everyone is able to sit down. There over 2000 students here and the place is huge as hell. The vice principal came up and started to use the microphone. Unfortunately, I didn't really hear much of the announcement as I was slowly falling asleep. Thankfully, a alarm woke me up and I jumped. A couple of students laughed a bit as they walked away from the auditorium.
That was one embarrassing moment. -I thought to myself
I grabbed my stuff and head to my first class, Biology. The class was already really nice. Pretty decorative for a health class like this. It seems like they may have a good amount of money in their hands to fund all of this. The professor was nice. He looks to be a really chill man, ready to start class for the first time in this year.
"Good morning everyone! My name is Professor Sparks and i am your biology professor. Here in this class, you will learn how the human body works, what organs are vital and a lot more things we are gonna cover. Now, most professors will go through the material quickly, giving you only your memory and agility to learn the topic, but here, you will have a small bit of extra time before I move on to the next part of the subject we are gonna work on for the day. I may be the only professor doing this so please, make my day and do not fail this class. You are no longer in high school, most of the professors here will NOT give you mercy. You can always come back here if you are wondering what is wrong with your grades or if you need to catch up. However, you can only do this after school okay. By the time when it is 6 PM, I will close my doors and will not help you for the day. Just because I am nice, that doesn't mean you can sleep or slack off. You are allow to have coffee or water to help you stay awake. Now that we got everything covered, are there any questions?" -Prof Sparks said
One students risen her hand. Sparks points at her.
"Does this mean we will take about sexual content? Like Sex Ed?" -The girl asked
"Yes, if you are worried about it, please let me know so you are allowed to leave the room and wait until we are done. I will give you a summary of what has happened in there. Like a video about inside of the human body." -The Professor responded.
After some time, we was able to introduce each other and finally it was my turn.
"You. The girl with the mask, come up here and introduce yourself please." -The professor points at me. I got up from my seat and walk to the front of the class.
Hello! I'm Jayla, Jayla ALT! I know, it is a weird last name. I like listening to music, I like to fight and I don't really talk often. Any questions? -I said
A few people rise their hands and I point at them one by one.
"Is your hair pink naturally or did you dyed it?"
It is permanently dyed. Why the color pink? I kinda like the color. -I said
"What type of music do you like?"
Electronic music and heavy metal. I even make some myself, also please be careful of it. Trust me on that one! -I said
"Why do you wear a mask? Is there is a reason behind it?"
I....I like wearing it for fun. I actually did got bullied a lot because of it. No, I am not in a gang. And please....do not force me to take off my mask. It is very sensitive. -I said
I then walk back to my seat and pulled out a notebook with a pencil on it. The notebook I wrote is called: Health and Biology. After that we all introduce each other, we started doing work. After a couple of hours later, the class is over and I can go to next class.
