Chapter 39: A way to control myself

The fallen angel woke up and look up to see me and the figure. He immediately screamed and was moving around. I was shocked. This guy is insane now. The devil woke up as well and saw us, looking at them. He didn't look insane but he knew at some point, he was gonna die. That's when I saw him crying, bloody tears rolling down his face but I don't hear him crying. That's when I saw it, his vocal chords was completely ripped out. After I noticed it, I look at the figure, I didn't really believe my eyes.

What did you do to them?! All because of a fight! -I shouted. I was walking up to them and the figure stopped me, I turned around and I see him grabbing me and throw me across the wall. It stings for a bit but I see him walking to me. He then looks down at me and took a deep breath and help me up. I feel like everytime when I interact with him, I feel like I am gonna die at any moment. He then rips a note from a wall and gives it to me. It was covered in blood but I was able to read it.

These guys that been breaking rules for a while now. Bring the new girl here, she needs to learn how to control herself. She isn't a human, that's one thing to know about, use them as a punching bag of life and death. If she eats them then she hasn't controlled herself yet. If one or both survive, they can live for another day but stay in this room you are in right now. If they break another rule, you get to have a free meal with the new girl. You already punished them enough.

My eyes was widen. It's hard for me to not control myself but if it's the only way to do it, then I'll try it.

I took off my mask. The devil and the fallen angel can truly see what I look like now. They both gasp. The devil couldn't gasp but it does looks like it.

"No no NO! She is a cannibal! We are gonna die!" -The fallen angel said

The devil was scared. Even though he lost his vocal chords, that doesn't mean he have any emotions. I look at them, waiting until my eyes are bright red. After some time now, I was slowly losing control at the moment. I was seeing words in my head, telling me to kill them or try some new blood. I was still waiting until I couldn't stop myself. I was walking up to them slowly and it feels like my head is pounding. I then see blood being bright red, telling me that where the blood is at when it comes to the figures. I blinked once and I see them slowly looking normal and was scared and the next, I still them as pitch black figures. I couldn't stop myself and I immediately run up to them. The figure knew what I was gonna do and sprint up to me to stop me. He grabbed my arms and pulled me back. It feels like my prey is going away by the second.

LET ME GO! I WANT TO KILL THEM!! I HAVEN'T ATE IN DAYS! -I yelled. The figure knew that I was lying and still didn't let me go. The victims was terrified and the figure was trying to get me to control myself. I had to have my eyes shut for a bit and then opened them again. The figures are still pitch black but my vision is slowly going back to normal. After a while, I can see the devil and the fallen angel. The figure let me go and spin me around and was interested. I was confused so I turned around to ask the fallen angel a question.

What are my eye color? Can you see it? -I asked

The fallen angel grunted a bit, trying to break free from the ropes. He finally look up at me and take a look. "Bright red. Are you going to eat me now?" -He said

I gasped for a bit. I didn't expect this to happen. Guess I am still hungry but I no longer lose control now. I question if I can have my eye color back to normal. I take a look at the note again. I can eat someone now in order to have my eye color back. The figure noticed I was looking at the note and puts his claws on my shoulder. I look at him then he points at the guys he punished.

Guess he is trying to say that I can eat someone and it's my choice on who or I don't have to. I walk back to the victims and examine them. The fallen angel said I can eat them but the devil can't speak due to his vocal chords being ripped out. I look at them for a moment and think to myself of a few things.

• If they are gonna fight each other
•The devil can no longer speak anymore
•If they break a rule, me and the figure can kill them, regardless of what happens

Both of them look up at me as I think about my choice on who I should kill. I don't have to kill them but if I spare both of them, they might break a rule again and this time, they won't get mercy. I then pace around for a bit as I thought of my answer.

I can eat one of you and still get away with it due to a note that was nearby you. But I think I have made my choice due to a few things. If you guys may start a fight again. -I said. I walk over to the note, take it out and show it to them.

See? The principal allowed us to. Now, for the devil. You cannot speak but at least your arms or legs isn't ripped off just yet if you lived. However, you can't answer questions and you may get bullied due to you having your vocal chords ripped or you might be called a legend for surviving. You may still break the rules even without a voice and someone had to be there for help you. -I said. As for the fallen angel....the last time I may have checked, angels become fallen angels if they did something bad right? -I added

"Yeah, you are correct." -He said

What did you do to become like this? -I asked

"I was framed. A person didn't like me at all, so they stole the holy bible and tear it apart. They then pinned it on me. When I found out I was gonna not come to heaven anymore and become a fallen angel, I cried. I made some friends up there and now I can no longer see them. I felt horrible for it. I don't know if they think I'm dead or alive, yet here I am, tied up and probably gonna die." -He finished with his eyes closed, feeling defeated.

After I heard everything, I thought of my choice. The figure was wondering who I am gonna choice. I then walk up the the devil and stared at him, like a death stare. Then I look at the fallen angel and he looked at me, still defeated. Finally, I look at the devil and snapped his neck, completely having his head decapitated. I then drained his blood to which the figure and the fallen angel was surprised. I then ate the rest of his body, there was no point of even trying to punish him when he is already punished enough. I can't even recognize him at this rate before I even touched him. After that, my eyes was back to black due to the fallen angel gasped for a bit. I then untied him and we both left.

Let's get out of here. -I said. Blood was all my mouth and the teeth wasn't really recognizable due to so much blood on me. As I was making my way to my room, I noticed a small amount of people was looking at me, disgusted. They probably see my mouth and knew I am doing something wrong. I overheard one of them talking about me.

"God damn, what did she do?"

"Judging from her mouth, she ate someone."

"Monsters are supposed to be here, what is she?"

"A cannibal I believe. Why are you asking? Don't you eat people too?"

"I eat souls, not humans beings. They are different!"

"Dude, you're technically eating a human if you think about it."

"Shut up!"

"I just noticed, the blood on her mouth was black, not red."

"Wait.....she ate a demon! Do you know what this means?!"

"You mean that guy that fought the fallen angel?"

"Yeah, she ate him. Should we try and give her a lesson?"

"Nah, the guy got what he deserved. He broke too many rules in a single week. He was gonna die at some point. I can't believe he broke this much rules in a single week, I was surprised when he came out of the headmaster's office fine with no problems. Guess he had enough."

"What about the new girl?"

"Leave her be. We might be next if we get on her bad side. And when it comes to cannibals....they tend to go insane. It isn't recommended to go near them."

After I heard what they said, I took note of it and went to my room.
