Chapter 67: What has changed

Everyone was still surprised seeing me chuckle and all the bodies all over the asylum. Blood was all over me and my axe, I was much more bloodier then the figure. My sanity was still normal, but at the same time, I felt like my sanity is still low.

The figure walk up to me, with a worried look at me. He noticed that my eyes are still bright red. Judging from the blood all over me, he thinks I probably ate someone or two. He backed up as Kaden walked up to me and put his hand next to my shoulder.

"What the hell happened to you Jayla?" -Kaden said

I went insane. The asylum broke me... -I said, now realizing what happened.

Kaden had fear chilling in his bones. Regardless, he still tried to speak to me. Everyone else listens.

"How long have you been here?" -Kaden said

Close to 3 months. -I said.

"And......how did you get here?" -Kaden asked

Vampire hunters...they came into the university and tested everyone. I...I tried to act like everyone else but I managed to get caught in the end! -I said. Bloody tears was running through my eyes.

Everyone gasped. The figure walked up to me and hand me the note. I wipe the tears and look at the note. That made my blood boil a bit.

I ran out of the asylum and everyone probably have guessed what I might do. Very few of the whole crowd followed me. Everyone else went back to the house to inform the headmaster. Kaden and the figure followed the people who ran after me.

I was running which felt like hours, I was running really quickly as well and it feels like I didn't lose my breath. Kaden was running in all fours while the figure was jumping from tree to tree, dashing in the process. I didn't even know where I was going at that rate. All I can think of is killing someone who even made the note of me getting captured. After some time, the duo both lost their breath.

"How is the hell can she run so fast?!" -Kaden panted. The figure was looking down from the trees and sees me going far and farther away. He knew he had to keep going if he wanted to stop me.

He sprinted to me, Kaden was surprised and kept on going. I turned my head around to see the figure was getting closer and closer to me, with Kaden slowly coming to the way too.

Before I know it, I was tackled to the ground by the figure and I saw Kaden in front of me. I can hear the figure growling at me and he have both of his claws right next to me.

Heh...you're planning on killing me huh? -I asked.

"That is not what we are trying to do. Why was you running somewhere?" -Kaden said.

Did you not see the wanted poster? The hunters put it up here for the city to see. You can see it. -I said.

Kaden grabbed the poster from my back pocket and saw it. At the bottom of the poster it shows the name of the hunters: VHO and where they are from. It's stupid to show their location there on the poster.

Regardless the figure still have me on the ground.

The figure put his claws right behind my back. I can feel the blood landing on my jacket, slowly making my jacket more bloodier and my shirt overtime.

Go on, I know you won't do it. -I said with a smile.

Without any second thought, he stabbed me on my back and in my head and I was down like a sack of potatoes. The figure got off of me with blood leaving my back, going to the side of my body and onto the ground.

"Dude what the hell? Why did you stab her?" -Kaden shouted.

The figure points at me and in a few seconds, the blood was done flowing and I was healed in a second. I got up without any questions.

Kaden had his jaws dropped as the figure walked up to me and slapped me.

Next time, do it without the claws out. -I said while running my cheek to where he slapped me from.

The figure puts his claws away and reached out for my hand and I shook it.

"Sooo....you are okay now?" -Kaden said.

Yeah, I'm okay now. Let's head back. -I said.

We all walked back to the house, it took a few hours to make it back there.
