Chapter 89: Flashback

A few years ago...As soon as the figure left Jayla's room, he questioned why he didn't kill her. When he pinned her to the ground, he had the chance to kill her, but didn't. He did noticed something about her, when he looked at her, her eyes changed from black to dark red, that's when he noticed who she really was. Not to mention, he also noticed she wears a mask, which most humans don't even wear masks. During that day before he found out who she really was, he was eating the person who was screaming in pain as their flesh was getting ripped off. He heard her running to the sound and jumped up to a nearby tree, just in time to see her arrived to the area he just killed the person from. As soon as he take off her mask, he noticed she had the exact same teeth as him; razor sharp teeth. This was surprising for him, he thought he was the only one who has sharp teeth. That's when he brought her to the house, because she is basically just like them...a monster.

He then walked to the headmasters's office and see that he is there.

"Do you need something?" -The headmaster asked.

The figure walk up to him and hands him a note that somehow wrote down.

Brought a person here. She is just like me, sharp teeth. Enroll her.

He took the letter and enrolled Jayla to the house.

"Does she have or need a room?" -He asked

The figure shook his head. The headmaster noticed she didn't have a room by looking at the house using a crystal ball. Immediately after, he used part of his magic to put a sign of Jayla's face on it, letting other know she has a room of her own.

"I see, well you are free to leave." -The headmaster said

The figure left the headmaster's office and went back to her room and waited at her door.

While he was waiting near her door, someone was walking up to him; it was a fallen angel.

"Hey, what are you doing?" -He asked

The figure looked at them, then tilt his head to the door, signaling him what he is doing.

"Oh, well why are you standing next to the door anyways?" -He questioned

The figure was pointing to the sign next to the door, only showing a name of a sign and a little description of it.

The fallen angel looked at the sign and shook his head.

"Wow, say she is new here? I never seen her before." -He asked

The figure shook his head. After doing that, the fallen angel then leaves the hallway. The figure then took a deep breath and continue to wait. When Jayla walked out, she sees him waiting. He turns his head to see her.

'Oh hey, what are you doing here?' -Jayla asked.

The figure grabbed her hand and takes her to the dinner area. When Jayla grabbed her food and a drink, he left the dinner area and walked to the library. When he went to the main library, a vampire was there, doing bookwork and then she looks up at him.

"Ah, welcome. Do you need anything?" -The liberation asked

He then hands a photo of Jayla.

"She looks interesting...new blood?" -The liberation asked

The figure nod his head at her.

"Alright, do you know what she is?" -The liberation questioned

The figure then smiled and use his claw to point at his teeth.

"I don't really understand it?" -She said.

He then puts his claws in his hand and points at Jayla's skin in the photo and then points back at his teeth.

"Oh...she's a cannibal? That's new." -She said

The figure was annoyed.

"Ok, I didn't know at first. But it's been too long since I last saw a cannibal. I say 250 years ago." -She said

The figure nod his head.

"That reminds me, I'll get a rule book ready for her. Bring her to me." -She said

The figure then left the library and went back to the diner area. She finished her food and he grabbed her and send her to the library. They then greet each other and got the rule book. He was thinking to himself of why he is doing this? Mainly due to the fact is she has sharp teeth, just like him and knew she could be the last of their kind. Whatever the case is, it is over with and done for.
