Chapter 99: The Fights

A alarm was going off nearby the library from where I walked outside. I immediately walked inside and see one of the main librarians carrying a dagger, from what looks to be a special dagger that could only be used for self defense. I walked up to the librarian and ask where did some students run off to, since I heard stomping when I was outside. He told me they all went to the left side of him so I ran after them so see what is going on.

What I see is a bunch of small groups fighting each other at different parts of the hallways, some with fist fights, other with weapons and very rarely, monsters with powers. It was a mad house, I don't even know who start the fight or what, but I had to pick what is going on and who should I should stop the fight first.

The first thing I did was run to the ones who was fist fighting each other. One person at a time, I stop them by putting my hand on their fist and stare down at them, hoping they would stop. If not, I bash them and another person's head to each other to knock them out. I keep on doing this for a while.

For the ones with weapons, I dodge the weapons out of the way and fight them myself. A single person versus a bunch of other monsters with weapons of any kind. Ranging from a stake, to a dagger, to a literal spear. I would kick or twist them arms, find some sort of way to disarm them. I would pin them to the ground once I disarm them and find some sort of way to tie them up, keep their weapon away from them. It did took some time and some cut and scratches but it does get the job done after a hour has passed by.

I noticed as I was running, my vision is starting to go red. I can't go to the cafe to grab something as I have to stop the fights from doing down. Zara went to the side of my face, reminding me about it for a while now. It was starting to get annoying but she finally forced me to grab something to eat after a while of running. Went for a classic set of arms and legs, that would do the trick for me and a cup or two of blood, mainly human. You can't really blame me as I was basically raised to eat body parts on a daily basis. When it comes to blood, a vampire and a cannibal mainly like human blood because it helps them conceal their identity much more longer then animal blood.

I finally left the cafe and found the final fights. I noticed the Figure was there, trying to stop the fights. So far, they managed to take down, almost half of them. I joined them on stopping the fights but I wasn't used to magic as we are not supposed to use it as much. Some of them was using what looks to be range attacks and summon in magic like weapons to stop another one. We did the best as we can and we managed to take out most of them before I noticed a couple of them was pinning the Figure. I turn my head around to see it and right before I did, I got knocked out myself.

I woke up in the Void Dimension. Confused, I got up and start walking around the place. I noticed Zara and Azure was looking at me.

"You need help Jayla?" -Azure asked

Why? Are you saying I'm weak?! -I shouted. My eyes immediately became bright red.

"ARE YOU SERIOUS?! You just ate!" -Zara yelled.

I do not give a fuck! I normally do not study magic as much, let alone find anyone with magic, and you are saying I need help?! -I said.

"Jayla..." -Azure said. She is walking up to me, slowly.

What do you want? Here to continue lecturing me again huh? I do not need it. -I said.

"Look. Right now, you need to stop them from continuing using magic. You are able to do that, right?" -Azure said. She put her hand on my arm.

I...I don't think I am able to. As I said, I haven't study anything about magic. -I said

"Well, let us help you out." -Azure said. She lets go of her arm and reaches her hand out for me. It gave me a bit of questions to answer.

"Well...do you?" -Azure asked.

I took a deep breath and grabbed her hand. Before I know it, my eyes turned blue, the same eyes are hers and I started to float up in the air. Then I was knocked out for a bit.

"You are doing THAT?!" -Zara said.

"Yep. Keep a eye on her while you are at it. I'll try not to make her die, if she actually does." -Azure said.

"Alright then. I'll try not to steal her soul. Can't believe I have to babysit her." -Zara said.

Azure started to glitch a little bit before disappearing out of the Void Dimension.
