Chapter 24: Changing for the worst (Part 1)

As the school day went by, nothing much truly happens really. We all did our classes, Devin started and continue to bully me. Me and Scarlet talked for a bit, and finally, me and Aaron ask each other questions. As time goes by, he feels suspicious however, I didn't mind it at the time. As time went by, it is starting to feel weird now. When the school day was over, I was heading home when Scarlet was running to me, asking me if I want to hang out. I agree with it since I still have nothing else to do.

As the day went by, I noticed we are doing our things. Going to the mall and stuff, the average girl things. I do want to leave since I'm now realizing I am slowly losing control. Don't get me wrong, I don't mind her hanging out with me, i just wanted her to be safe without me doing anything to her. Boy was I wrong!

When we left, it was near nighttime. We would always go to places when school is over and finish with it when it was close to or is nighttime. We would do a lot of things, like go to the park, head to the mall, eat at a restaurant and hang out with each other and call each other's parents, let the adults talk to each other and be friends with each other. It was a bonding for me and Scarlet and our parents.

It was at a point of time where my vision went red and I already see black figures yet again. However, since we was hanging out for hours, I started to hear words in my head, telling me to kill someone. All of a sudden I stopped as Scarlet walked forward. She noticed I have stopped and ask me what is wrong. She noticed my bright red eyes and thought I was wearing contacts. I can tell it was her due to her voice, however I could see her appearance. All I sudden I started to feel pain and was slowly hurting. I can tell my hunger was trying to control my body.

ARGH! SHIT! -I yelled

She ran up to me.

"Jayla! Are you okay?" -Scarlet asked

Run, please! -I said

"What do you mean?" -Scarlet asked

My eyes turned to bright red, I was already at my breaking point.

Hurry, run as far away as you can! GO! -I commanded

She ran away from me as I was screaming in pain. I couldn't take it anymore. I took off my mask and looked around to find a person nearby me to eat. Unfortunately, it was Scarlet who was nearby me. I got up and started to laugh murderously. Scarlet was already feeling scared but continued running to the point where she was sprinting.

I smiled and turned around to see a black figure running away from me. It have got to the point where the black figures no longer had a appearance so I can no longer see who is who. I ran towards to the black figure running from me. I grabbed them by their neck until they grabbed a knife and stabbed me in the neck. I screamed and let them go and had my eyes closed while ripping the knife out of my neck. As soon as I ripped the knife off of me and opened my eyes, they was gone.

I know you're around here somewhere! -I said as I laughed
