Should a Vilainess snake eat a fox?

It may have been the nature of the two animals within their demon counterparts. A big bird who likes to prey on a snake VS a snake who's not that big in size.

She Famei's instincts tells her to run away, or turn back into her snake form and quickly bit the enemy's leg within reach to prevent herself from getting attacked. But as her human body slowly turned back to face the bird demon, she could feel the intimidation that her wings brought upon her.

Sometimes, birds would try to intimidate their enemies and prey by stretching their wings as big as they can, and try to cover their enemy's line of sight. As it seems that it had worked on Shé Famei, the bird lady smiled a bit to find the amusement of the girl's fearful face. It's really funny if she thought about it. This little snake should have been scared by now and turn herself back into her snake form. But it seems that this little snake did not understand what she's currently feeling herself.

How interesting.

"Calm down little snake. This old lady will not hurt you hahaha!. Cawk, you should put those poison needles of yours away for now. Else, if we were to fight inside here, I'm afraid that my people won't tolerate it very much."

Shé Famei heard what she said, as she could notice that there are multiple presences of hostile beings. For that, she slowly put back her needles to the inside of her pocket. Her body was still shaking from the stress that her snake counterpart felt, but it seems her human form had managed to calm it self down for now.

She's only a snake, her snake form couldn't handle such stress like this. She didn't want an unwanted heart attack to strike her down if she were to transform.

She inhaled in and out before speaking to the boss lady again.

"Guild master, please refrain yourself from unfunny jokes such as this. If you are able to do so, can you perhaps allow me to calm myself first, and please retract your wings ?."

"Aiyaa sure sure. Go ahead and sit down over there little snake. This old lady is not a scary bully you know."

Shé Famei finally sat on a chair that was in front of the boss's table. Her snake counterpart also calmed down once she sees that the boss finally let down her wings. But she's still shaking.

The boss let her wings be dragged to the floor as she slowly walked towards her way while bringing a set of tea. The bird demon finally settled down in front of her as she pours the tea on to both cups. And offered her one.

"Care for a small drink little snake?. Don't worry, It isn't poisoned-"

"Do you by chance have any poison around ?. Any kind will do, please bring me some as I'm in dire need of one."

If it was Shé Famei who was shocked before, now it's the boss lady's turn to be shocked.

"Cawk? Perhaps I heard wrong. Little snake your jokes are really funny, drinking poison with tea?. Such-"

"Please guild master, if you do have one, please give it to me. My snake counterpart really needs it right now."

The bird demon knew that the snake kind are resistant to poison, but they're not immune to it. So it was something new to find a snake that requested to drink poison on her own. But the look on this little green snake's eyes seemed very serious. So she believed her, and called for one of her subordinates to take out a poison pill that was left from their previous engagement with a rival company.

When the subordinate arrived, he handled a wooden box towards the bird demon, and left after that. The guild master opened the box, and a strong stench came out of it.
