Should a Vilainess snake eat a fox?

It's now almost evening, as the sun slowly sets. The whole mess within the day has been cleaned up, and the servants and guards who was having hyportemia had already been given some warming pills to make sure that their body could combat the coldness away.

What about our lovely Shé Baihua ?. Does she not feel the cold too ?.

Well truth be told, Shé Baihua slept through the entire thing within her room like a dead person. She didn't feel the coldness that much because when snakes like them sleep in the winter, it's like a mini hibernation simulation. That's why they literally couldn't be disturbed by anything except when they're forcefully woken up by someone. Even now Shé Baihua is still asleep on her bed, clueless to what had transpired in day time. As she will be waking up at night time today thanks to her nocturnal cycle.

And that leaves both, the green snake and the orange fox, who got nothing else left to do to be walking together towards the treasury of the mansion.

Due to her marvelous medicine, Shé Famei was given the choice of choosing any item that she wants from the treasury as thanks to her hard work and miracle medicine. But as punishment for provoking the evil black dragon which caused the whole mansion to be turned into an ice wonderland, she has to help Chengzhi handle the rest of the mess, treat all of the servants and guards that have been affected by the cold, and also help Chengzhi with his future work since she has indeed inconvenienced him greatly.

No matter if she wanted it or not, the black evil dragon knew of their bad blood so he purposedly commanded Chengzhi to carry out her punishment as he sees fit when later she works under him.

And Chengzhi at first was overjoyed that he's free to torture Shé Famei's mind even though he couldn't hurt her physically. Ah the ways he thought of inconveniencing her for his stress relief are very much. He hummed on his way to the treasury as he guided Shé Famei who only followed him quietly, seemingly sight seeing the other parts of the mansion that she hasn't seen before.

Hmm what shall he do for her punishment later?. Should he convert all of his heavy paper work load for her to work on?, should he place her into the logistics department of his company and take care of the annoying import-export stuff alone?, Or should he command her to do menial labour for days, perhaps making her as his personal errand maid and assistant? Fufufu. His mind was practically in the air.

Though she's been too quiet ever since earlier. Usually she would have spout out some nasty remarks about his smell or called him names and insult his face or personality.

When his master commanded him to seek out whatever punishment he sees fit for her, she didn't even fight back. She just accepted it as it is and then continued to do what was told without any complaint.

It's just weird.

So what happened to her when she has successfully managed to produce a medicine so great, and got out successfully without getting hurt or killed by his master ?. It's really a miracle she's still alive to be honest, she's the first woman to ever survive his master's wrath and got out of it without any scratch.

Still, what is she uncomfortable with ever since noon to keep her so unnaturally quiet like this-

What Chengzhi didn't know, was that Shé Famei will be asking him something important that he himself had forgotten. The fact that he refused to meet her for days, as he purposely avoided her, and the reason why he did it. He will soon know that it's not a good thing to ignore her for days only to shrug it off as if nothing happened.
