Shé Famei was never a good girl in both of her lives.

In her former life, she was a very spoiled brat who got everything that she wanted handed over a silver platter.

The most expensive limited edition barbie dolls, the most luxurious clothes, the most handiest maids and servants alike to take care of her every needs, making her not bother to do anything hard herself. Perhaps that's why, she grew up to be a very mean girl.

It's not like her family was rich from the start, instead her family was actually very frugal. Even though she was an only child because of the country's one child policy, she still had to have most of her pocket money cut due to her family's situation.

Then after she entered elementary school, her parents got the opportunity to open up a small business. To which that business grew over the night because of the rise of internet sharing, and then a couple of months later, her family suddenly became very rich.

She moved out of her regular school after that and transferred into an elite academy for rich people. She was at first regarded as a nouveau rich, but because they were all still kids at the time, she quickly became accustomed to the life there and gained a popularity for herself due to her natural charisma.

Over the past few years, because of her parents overindulgence on spoiling her to make up for the past, she was raised in gold. Her parents allowed her to do anything she wanted and have anything she wanted with little to no effort. Because of this, she grew up to be a confident and arrogant girl who believed everything revolves around her.

Designers clothing, bag and accessories; the newest cosmetics from high end brands, VIP trips and long vacations to other countries and such, if she wanted it she'll get it.

It doesn't help that with her popularity around school, she bullied others who annoy her and blackmailed other girls who got too close to the boys that she chased. And the girl friends that she had, everytime she found out that one of their boyfriends secretly cheated on them, she would date and slept with the cheating boy. Afterwards, she would tell her friends about what she had done, thinking that she did the best thing for them.

Of course it isn't the best, and because she did that shit multiple times, her so called friends finally part ways with her one by one. Till she was the only left with the 'fake ones' who Clinged onto her for clout and popularity. She maybe a confident and arrogant girl, but after her friends dissapeared from her life, bad rumors about her are finally sprouting out from the mouths of others.

At first she didn't bat an eye to any of them, still walking with pride and her head held high in front of everyone. That is, until the cruel reality hits her when her parents's successful business slowly crumbled over the years.

It started from being scammed after they had put a lot of money on insurance investation. Then a building was burned, another got destroyed by a flood, causing materialistic damages. Then suddenly, a new competitor popped up and her parents's failing company failed to keep up with the trends and finally went bankrupt from multiple debts. This caused her father to have a heart attack. And soon after, he passed away.

And her mom? She was fine even though she's grieving. She still treated the past Shé Famei the same as a loving but distant mother. But 2 years later, Shé Famei found her mother dead. Hanging herself in her own room.

At that time, all of their assets had been taken away and sold to clear their debts. Leaving Shé Famei and her mom, who had no other relatives to live alone in their former small yet comfy house. She had also been forcefully dropped out of her expensive school since her parents could no longer support her. Making her unable to finish her last year of high school completely. Thus, making her unillegible to enter college.
