Accepting her punishment, Shé Famei began to help Chengzhi with his work after a few weeks since the whole ice wonderland incident.

By now, winter has ended and spring has began. Signifying the fact that the new years is coming up soon.

And what does that mean? More extra heavy workload for Chengzhi's company of course. Every time just before new years comes, it's the busiest time for merchants to sell their wares.

From Shio themed decorations, extra red new year themed rouge and cosmetics, dried food, fruits, and candies to be brought home to your family. New bolts of silk to be made into new outfits for celebrating the new years, red envelopes being sold in stores to store your money and gave out to the children later. Fireworks makers having the time of their lives selling massive bucks, fruit vendors switching up their products with fruits that signifies luckyness and prosperity, etc.

As the head of a big merchant company in the mortal world that sells all of those things, he definitely won't miss such a big opportunity to make cash rain. No workers are spared from the overload of orders. Though most of the workers choose to have overtime before the new years arrived so that they could achieve their production goal faster.

Because once the new years start, it will be a long 16 day celebration of the spring Festival. And who would want to do work when it's the holidays ?. No one, so they all have made up their minds to finish their work goal first as fast as they can before enjoying that long awaited sweet, sweet, holiday.

This new year will be the shio of the Rabbit. As the street decorations were filled with all kinds of rabbit decorations again, just like in the mid-autumn festival back then.

Knowing that this new years shio is the rabbit, Shé Famei and Shé Baihua has gained permission from the evil black dragon to went back home to Qin Port City later when the new years arrived. The sisters wanted to pay their respects to two people deserving of it.

Sister Xuetu, a woman that they considered as a meritorious mother figure by now, who taught them what it means to embrace your femininity and love yourself as a free woman with a lot of options. And Shirou Niao, the bird brain that has basically became their master for almost a hundred demonic years, who had taught them business and how to defend themselves. Both of the two women became important parental figures for the sisters back when they just arrived in Qin Port city till now.

Even when they had only parted ways for 2 months and a half, Sister Xuetu kept bugging Shirou Niao to send courier pigeons to gave them her letters. And Shé Baihua was more than delighted to always reply her letters and tell them all kinds of stuff that happened while living here in the evil black dragon's mansion.

Shé Famei rarely gave them replies herself, but she only said that she sends her regards whenever Shé Baihua was writing them letters. And although she said that she's not too worried about the two woman, she couldn't help but feel grateful too for what they did for the sisters. That's why, initially she was the one who got the idea to go back to Qin Port City when new years arrive. And she was glad that the evil black dragon approved of her request(although reluctantly because it means he won't be able to see Shé Baihua for some time).

But the new years, will come later. Keyword 'later' even though it's soon, and that means Shé Famei having to follow Chengzhi all around and help him with his work is her main priority right now.

She sighed, as she's currently in a meeting with Chengzhi, disguising herself as his personal maid while she secretly wrote all kinds of things about the meeting in the scroll that Chengzhi has provided her in the corner of the room.

What did she agreed herself into when she accepted that punishment ?.

She thought that at most, Chengzhi would probably punish her by finding ways to humiliate her in public. She has readied her mind for that, but not this... The horror of overtime and stress from incoming deadline is coming back to her again.
