On the first day Shé Famei locked herself up in her room, Shé Baihua was bored to death after her work was over. She doesn't have many friends of her age since she felt like she couldn't get close to any of the kids here. Mainly because of her sister's warnings to not get too close and attached towards the humans. She understood what she meant and she didn't meant any harm, but...

Perhaps she doesn't realize that Shé Baihua usually felt lonely when she's not around. She doesn't have any girl friends of her age. Nor any ordinary male friends that she could talk to without having them be too mesmerized by her face.

The closest gal pals that she ever made friends with were the young servant girls at sister Xuetu's brothel. But of course, she's always busy with her work and couldn't possibly come in and out of the brothel so easily except on special occasions. So she couldn't meet any of her gal pals there.

The same aunty and grannies, the same old man who bought back ache medicine, the same mother and son pair who's actually very suspicious because they seemed as if they're on the run from something. Wait ah no, the husband found them. Turns out it was just all a one giant big misunderstanding, they eventually made up with their child clinging to the husband on the way back.

Huff.... Boring. She needs some spice in the environment. She's actually happy that the couple got to settle their problems and make up, but seeing the process too fast without any drama is not good enough entertainment. Snakes are supposed to be antisocial solitary creatures, but Shé Baihua is a special case.

Perhaps it's because she lives pretty isolated her whole life in the human world ever since she was little, or perhaps it's because she likes to hear and read dramatic stories that will keep her excitement up. Although she always says she might die from boredom due to lack of amusement, she's a bit afraid that her exaggeration will come true one day.

She's only a snake, a snake's heart could only take so much in one go. If her happiness is not fulfilled then she'll get sad and depressed, causing shedding season to fasten for herself !. And she does not enjoy shedding season that much. Her sister enjoys getting her scales shed, but she's not. Maybe due to the fact she has albinism, every time she shed her scales, her entire skin will get very sensitive for a couple of days after shedding. When she means sensitive, it's the annoying kind.

She couldn't get outside under the sun for no longer than 10 minutes at most even though she wore the special cold rouge that her sister made. She will get too perceptive of the temperature and felt slightly annoyed by getting too warm or too cold. Heck, even when a blunt object touched her skin, it felt weird because she could overly felt their texture against her touch.
