Work is finally over

This.... How many days has it been now ? How many weeks have passed ?.

The new years will arrive in just 2 days, and Shé Baihua has been busy packing up their items to be brought back to Qin Port City later. The both of them will spent the entire new years festivities there after all. And Shé Famei was glad that her tiring work is likely done.

Yes, it's gonna be done soon actually after she has finished stamping these few documents left. As she was currently in Chengzhi's study room within his own courtyard. Talk about a fancy building, though this was not the first time she went in here since she has been going in and out of this room every time they needed to do some paperwork.

She looked at her stiff trembling hand that's holding Chengzhi's prized Yellow jade seal that he bought from the celestial world. She was honestly not sure how did she get her hands on such an important thing, or why did Chengzhi trust her enough as he handed it to her a few days ago.

But.... Chengzhi was literally nowhere to be seen. Actually, this morning they still worked together handling the rest of the final stack of documents that needed to be approved of. But it seems Chengzhi's body couldn't take the tiredness anymore, as he simply gave up. No, his head suddenly fell asleep on the desk top with a bang. And even though she tried waking him up over and over again, his body really gave out.

She let him be for a while deciding that indeed, compared to her, that guy was working non stop. Though he woke up one hour later, complaining that his neck felt stiff. That's why he went out since noon. And never came back till now when it's already the afternoon.

She wanted to complain about handling the final stack of documents alone, but she had acknowledged a certain fact about Chengzhi that made her come to respect him and let him be.

She doesn't like to admit it, but he's more of a workaholic than her. Cause due to his fox fire powers or something, he could stay awake for 3 days straight. 3 straight days without sleep, doing work by himself. Boy, it sure does come handy to be having the power to not sleep.

But in exchange, his sleeping schedule became even more messy and broken than Shé Baihua's diurnal and nocturnal cycle. It made even the black evil dragon, the guy who at first was apathetic to the whole thing, worried that the fox might suddenly die if this keeps going on.

So because of Shé Baihua's worried plea, and the reports of the servants who were shocked to see him still in the study room even after midnight passed, the black evil dragon physically commanded all of the servants, maids, and guards, to physically seal up this study room for 2 days. They even made sure to put on some binding seals on the door to make sure that no one could broke in there.

Banning both the snake and fox from working. The both of them at the time didn't know whether to laugh or cry since now they have a solid reason to not continue working, but on the other hand if they do not continue their work, then the rest of the business affairs will not be done until new years comes.

So, the both of them agreed to have a break. As both the snake and fox, literally spent 2 whole days sleeping in bed. No, seriously, Chengzhi was literally in a coma for 2 days straight. That's really not healthy, even for non-human standards. She herself only slept at a maximum 14 hours for each day because Shé Baihua kept watch of her sleep. But after the 2 days working ban has been lifted, the two quickly went back to finish their work.

And some days later, here we are now. With Shé Famei finally finishing the last stamping of the final piece of scroll.

Y-yes! Finally.... With this last seal, SHE'S FINALLY DONE WITH HER WORK !!!!.

She was extremely happy, even though her tired expressionless face doesn't show it. But as she put down the ink brush and yellow jade stamp that she's been using all this time to the top of the table, she stretched her body on her seat. Making loud popping sounds signifying that her joints are finally relieved.
