I walked downstairs to see Rico and August talking to Taurus by the door and it didn't look so pleasant.
"What are y'all doing to him ?"
I immediately caught stares from everyone which kind of made me uncomfortable. I made my way next to Taurus and he looked pretty good.

He hugged me and i couldn't help but smell him. He smelt really good. Rico looked at me up and down
"I'ma let you slide tonight" I smiled
I looked over at August and he grabbed his keys.
"Uh I gotta head out fam" august said dappin Rico up as he made his way out the door. I looked up at Taurus and he smiled at me. I gave him a weak smile back
"You ready?" He asked. I nodded my head
"Ight you got your key cause I gotta be somewhere" Rico said
"Yeah I got it"
"Ight be safe and text me if you need me"
I nodded and walked to The car behind Taurus. He pulled off and it was very silent so I tried to make conversation
"so, what are you planning to do after high school?" I asked looking over at him
"Tryna make it to the NBA"
I nodded
"What schools are you looking at?"
"Harvard and NYC"
"You want to stay here?"
He shrugged
"I mean it ain that bad here" he said pulling into Minetta Tavern. A restaurant my parents use to go to for their anniversary, I smiled as he got out the car and came over to my side and opened my door for me and took my hand.
