4 days later: December 24th, Christmas Eve 3:45pm

"Well you are set to get out of here. I'll bring back your discharge papers and prescription for the pain" the dr said leaving out

In the past 4 days, Promise been going good. She's been eating but not as much but it's a start. Her heart monitor don't beep as much when I'm around either. The therapist said she's been doing progress but it's something that's holding her back. I tired to get her to tell me so I could help but she told me that she will do it eventually.

She let people visit her but not as much and we respected that. I can only imagine people suffocating you and asking a ton of questions a day. She get that enough from the doctors. Promise even told me to go home at night to see if sh could sleep by herself but the nurses ended up calling me in the middle of the night to come back.

"You ready to go home?"

"yeah" she sat up in her bed all the way and smiled

"Dess and Jayda went to go get you some clothes. They said they had to pick up the right outfit for you" I said shaking my head. She laughed and looked at the tv.

"We are here" Dess said walking in. Jayda followed behind her with a bag in her hand.

"What's all that?" Promise asked. They started setting up shit around her bed

"I got stuff to do your makeup and hair" Jayda said.

"Yeah girl when you look good you feel good" Dess pinned her hair up.

Promise just looked at them while Dess straighten her hair. I shook my head at them. Jayda picked up somethin and started brushing her eyebrows.

"Umm I'll do my own makeup" promise said taking the stuff from her.

"I told you. She don't like how you do her makeup" Dess said laughing.

"Well then" Jayda said folding her arms.

"Taurus got all of your work for you that you missed" Dess said.

"That was sweet" she said. They pulled out her outfit and she started looking at me

"Umm" Promise cleared her throat and they looked over at me

"Bone thug" Dess said and I put my hands up and went in the hallway. I was sitting down when rico walked up.

"Wassup where everybody at?"

"Getting Promise dressed" I said and he nodded.

"Well yo dog ready whenever you are" Rico said and I smiled

Today was the day I put his ass to rest. Since Promise was finally going home, I wanted to handle his ass once and for all. Me and Rico.

"Ight bet we'll go tonight" I said as Dess and Jayda walked out.

"Okay she's ready and we'll be at your house waiting" Dess said walking away.

"My house?" I questioned and they kept walking. I looked at rico.

"They wanted to chill with Promise and I know she's goin back to yo house" he said and I nodded.
