I opened my eyes to feel not lick of ass in my hands. I groaned and got out of bed and went to the bathroom. I took a shower and went back to the room to slip on some clothes. I checked my phone and seen Promise location was still off. I walked downstairs stairs to see mama.

"Where everybody at?" I sat down

"Chandra and Promise went out somewhere. The girls are outside in the back and Jeremiah went with the boys somewhere. I'm just relaxing" she said drinking a glass of wine. I laughed and shook my head at her

"How long Chandra and Promise been gone?"

"Since this mornin"

I shook my head and looked down at my phone and texted her. 

Me: I'm beatin yo ass. Why yo lo off?

Me: and I woke up to no tittie or ass in my hands and dats a problem

"Leave that girl alone. I know you over there bothering her"

"I just be worried dats all"  she looked over at me and smiled

"You really love her don't you?"  I smiled and nodded my head

"Yeah I do"

I didn't know I was capable of lovin somebody other than my family. Promise came around and turned shit around for me. I didn't even know if I was worthy of ha either. I was about to ask my mom sum dats been on my mind but Chandra walked in.

"Where Promise?"

"She's scared to come in here with her new hair" Chandra said chuckling. I shook my head

"I look weird" Promise whined from the outside. I could tell she was poutin right na

"You look beautiful girl come in" Chandra grabbed her arm and pulled her inside. She walked in and looked around at everybody.

"You look real good baby" mama said getting up and hugging her. Promise didn't take the hug well and I scrunched my face at her.

"Thank you mama Sheila" she smiles and ma went upstairs.

"Let me go check on my babies" Chandra said walking upstairs.

"You cut your hair?" I asked standing up and walking towards her.

"It's a wig" 

I looked at her hair. I never seen Promise with short hair befo. She hated short hair, I wonder what made her do dis

"It's ugly isn't it?" I looked at her and nodded my head. Her mouth dropped opened and she hit me.

"Damn Laila Ali I was just playin witchu" I rubbed my chest.

"That's not funny"

"You look good ma ma" she smiled at me and I hugged her but she pushed my back.
