The day is finally here. The day that I've been anticipating for as long as I can remember. The day I couldn't wait to wake up to. You're girl I finally 18. Ahhhhhhh! Yes yes yes; I am finally legal. I wanted to today to be nothing but amazing things so Dess snuck and took me to go take my drivers test and guess what? Yeah i pass. I am so happy right now. Nothing could possibly ruin this day for me, I don't how hard they tried, I was on cloud nine.

So now she just dropped me off at the Mall to go get my hair, nails, and feet done. She said she wanted me to pick up a few things at a particular store which i thought was weird but I didn't mind. We pulled up to the Mall and she pulled up ti the entrance.

"Okay birthday girl. I'll be back when you are all finished" Dess said smiling.

"Okayyy" I sung as I hopped out the car and walked in the Mall. It was Friday so I expected the mall to be semi packed today. I made my way to the hair salon first.

"Hey. Do you have an appointment?" A young lady asked me

"Um No, but i only want a pony tail" I plead.

"I'm sorry but we are booked today" she said looking up at me with sad eyes. I was about to say something but another girl walked up to me.

"Are you Promise?" She asked. I looked at her name tag and it read Nicole

"Yeah" I said concern

"Follow me I've been waiting for you"
I scrunched my face in confusion as I walked to the washing area with her.

"You've been expecting me?" I questioned sitting dons in the seat as she put the cape thing over me.

"Yes your friend made an appointment for you" Awwn how sweet Dess made an appointment for me.

She began to wet my hair up before putting the shampoo in and scrubbing my scalp. I loved when other people washed my hair for me. It was so relaxing I almost fell asleep until she lifted me up from the sink and started blow drying my hair. She slicked it back in a ponytail and curled my ends. When she was finished she gave me a mirror so I could look at it.

"Aww thank you it looks so nice"

"You are welcome birthday girl"

She took off the cape and I handed her the mirror back. I grabbed my purse to pay her

"How much is it?"

"No no already paid for"

"Really?" I scrunched my face

"Yup it's paid for. You have a nice day" she smiled and walked to the back.

I shrugged and got up to walk next door to get my nails and feet done. I walked in and it wasn't so pack like the salon which is good.

"How can I help you today?"

"Um mani and pedi"

"Do you have an appointment? We can't see anyone unless you have an appointment" I sighed

"No" I said defeated and was about to turn around

"Are you Destiny friend?" A older lady asked me
