2 weeks later. Sunday, 10:44am

For the past 2 weeks I've been going to school, and back at August house. Sometimes I would stay at Dess house and Jayda house because it was so awkward at August house. I didn't go to the job due to school and August. I didn't want him being even more mad at me then he already was. He wouldn't touch me or sleep in the same bed as me. He would only say two words to me and that was only asking me was I ready to get dropped off at school. It was so weird and uncomfortable not having August sleep in the same bed with me. We were in the same house but it didn't feel like it.

The nightmares slowed down but not all the way. last week I had them sometimes every other day which caused me not to want to sleep again. The bags under my eyes were okay since I always covered them with makeup.

I turned in all my work and got back on track. My gpa boosted and i was now number 3 in my class. It wasn't where I wanted to be but I had to deal with it for now until we went back to school.

We were now on thanksgiving break for a week and August still wanted me to go to New Orleans with him for thanksgiving tomorrow. Nervous was an understatement. I was packing up the last bit of my clothes for the trip and walked downstairs. August and Jeremiah were in the kitchen eating.

"I'm ready" I said smiling. I seen August look up at me and went back to talk to Jeremiah.

I sighed and grab both of my bags and walked to the car. I put one in the trunk and I was about to grab the other.

"Get in the car I got it" august said taking my bag from me.

I got in the car and waited for August and Jeremiah to come ins they got in and August started driving to the airport. I checked my phone and seen Taurus, Dess, Jayda, West, Jaylen, and Tiffany texted the group chat.

Polo 👕: Bring me back a beignet and a bad bitch.

Western🌵: Tiff gonna beat yo ass bru 😂

Dessy❣️: I hope she beat the black off you

Jaylena: aye bring me a bunch of bad bitches

Tiff 🤍: Come outside Taurus

I shook my head at the messages. The past weeks we grew closer and I couldn't be more happy with my new friends. We all been going out to eat and everything with each other. Tiff been talking to Taurus since my birthday and I honestly can say they are the cutest. West still liked Jayda and it was hilarious even after she told him she was taken.

Dess still had her boo but don't bring him around as much because she said she doesn't want to make it seem like they are together. Everybody knew they were that was Dess way of saying she didn't want to fall for him like she was always doing.

We pulled up to the airport and got out. I grabbed my bag and August grabbed the other one. I looked over at the integer side of the rode and seen the same person I seen at the cafe. I wiped my eyes and then they were gone. I stepped closer to August as we walked in the airport. We got checked in and sat down until we had to board the plane.
