Today was Rico day to drop the girls off and pick them up. Me and Rico was sitting on the couch smoking and thinking about everything and what we was going to do.

"This shit crazy man" Rico said shaking his head

"You know Promise shot somebody hand?" I asked Rico and he looked up at me

"Yeah she told me when I dropped her off" he said takin a drag of his wood

"And what I coincidence that Chris hand is bandaged up the next day" I said and he sat at the edge of his seat

"Wait man you think Chris been doing this shit? Nah"

"Think about it. Dis nigga never around when shit pop off, he wanted promise and couldn't get her, and his hand got smashed and his shit bandaged up. "

"Ight we gonna keep his ass close" Rico said and I nodded.

Rico sat there blankly staring into space, I knew he was pissed that we didn't have a lead on shit but Chris. My phone started ringing and Jeremiah popped up

"Wassup youngin" I said

"I've been thinking about what Rico said about them not making their move when he's by hisself " Jeremiah said. Rico looked towards me

"Ight what?" I asked

"What if they don't care about when y'all together, they just care when Promise is more protected than usual" Jeremiah said.

"What you tryna say Jeremiah?" Rico asked and he sighed. I shook my head and thought about everything that has happened

"They not after us. They after Promise and we just in the way" I said and Jeremiah nodded.

"So what we gonna do because we can't just let them take Promise from us. I'll be damned" Rico said.

"It's not you they worried about. This started when y'all started messing around" Jeremiah said and I looked at Rico and back to Jeremiah

"What you sayin man?" Rico said and I was nervous for them words to slip out his mouth. But I knew what he was going to say

"August gotta break up with her" Jeremiah said

I was at my locker putting my books away getting ready to go to lunch. I seen Jayda looking at me and I turned to her

"What?" I asked and she shook her head

"Walk to that door then walk back" she said and Dess giggled. I shrugged and did as told slowly.

"walk normal speed please" Dess said crossing her arms and I did as told.

"Damn he fucked up yo walk bad" Dess said and they started laughing. I rolled my eyes at them.

"What ever"

I was very salty because Aug punished me for a long time last night. I enjoyed it trust me but he didn't allow me to get a break which caused my walk to be a little funny and my cat to be very sore.
