Thanksgiving. Monday, November 24th, 10:34am .

I couldn't sleep not one bit. August had a grip on me for dear life, so I had to pry his hands off my waist. I got out the bed and went to put on some jogging pants since I only had on August T shirt. I went to the bathroom snd did my busy and walked downstairs. Everyone in the house was sleep I'm assuming since it was so quiet and early. I went on the porch and sat down on the stairs. It felt so good outside, I just wanted to seat out here and think.

I watched little boys play on their basketball rim and lily toe girls okay jump rope and hopscotch. I smiled at the scene that was before me and smiled. I missed these days, not a care free in the world. Sitting next to the tv waiting on a new Disney channel movie, fighting with my friends over which Mindless behavior member was our boyfriend, which cheetah girl were we, I was always Auqa, and seating by the tv to see which music video was going to drop next on 106&Park. I laughed to myself and looked down at my phone.

I smiled at the messages and shook my head. The bonds I've created was so special to me I wouldn't trade my gang for nothing in the world. My smile slowly faded when I notice I didn't speak with the person I wanted to today and it was a holiday. We never missed speaking to each other on holidays because it was important.

"What you doing out here so early baby?" Mama Sheila said. I didn't have to turn around to know it was her. Her voice was so comforting.

"Just thinking"

"What you thinking about?"

"A person that I've hurt" I said lowly as she sat down next to me.

"Don't think about it too long. You can't sit out here on the porch like you do back in yo town" I smiled and nodded my head. She looked over at me and rubbed my back.

"Baby whatever it is fix it and fix it right now. You leave stuff on your conscience, a lot of other things around you can go wrong without you knowing" she said. I looked at her and nodded.

"Thank you Ms... I mean Mama Sheila" she smiled and patted my leg.

"Make it quick before they get to shootin" she got up quickly and walked in the house. I took out my phone and pressed the call button and it rung 3 times before he picked up.

"Yo who dis?" I took a deep breath.

"Hey Rico"
