I love you, Newt

Thomas's POV

After dinner we had a bonfire to celebrate Kyle's return. Newt sat beside Kyle on our log.

"Newt?" I asked crouching down beside them.

"What is it, Tommy?" He sighed.

"Newt, can I talk to you..please?" I begged.

Newt sighed again, uncoiling himself from Kyle. "Fine, wait here Kyle I won't be long."

I lead Newt behind the homestead. "You know why I did it right?" I started once we were alone.

"Did what? Oh why you left child chained up in the forest to die!" Newts tone was cold.

"I only did it to get you back, Newt! I was going to go get him right after I got the needle to save you, don't you remember how you felt when I was missing? Wouldn't you have done the same to get me back?" A tear fell down my cheek.

Newt nodded. "I guess I would." He admitted. I pulled him close and kissed his head.

"I love you, Newt." He squeezed me tighter, "I love you too, Tommy."

After our conversation I was feeling much better. Newt went back and sit with Kyle, I went to go talk to Minho.

Kyle's POV
I was being held by he boy of my dreams, life was so very good. I even thanked the creators for sending me up here.

Yeah I lost my family, childhood, and freedom, but I met the most beautiful, kind, sweet, person ever.

"So are you still mad at, Tommy?" Newt asked with his beautiful accent.

"Oh, no. It's good to forgive." I lied, of corse I was still mad at that dimwit, Thomas! I hoped Newt was too.

"Good that." He replied. "I'm going to get some sleep, g'night.

Now was my chance, breath Kyle, breath. "Newt?" I asked.

He turned around, "Uhm...could I uhh maybe..sleep with you tonight?" I asked shyly.

He smiled, "Of course, get over here, shank."

I grinned and walked over to Newt, resting under his arm.

We snuggled up in his hammock, it was so nice and warm beside him. I never wanted this to end.

Newt rested his head on top of mine and I snuggled into the crook of his neck, he smelled good.

I could feel someone's prying eyes, Thomas. I smirked at the thought of his jealousy.

I didn't just want to tease him with snuggles though, I wanted him to feel something's as painful as hunger, something like heartbreak.
