The Final Battle has begun.
You and the others ran back to the Bounty 2.0. Lloyd was upon your back. He was trying so hard to control his crying, though he still let out small whimpers of fear and sadness.
Lloyd is scared. You are scared.
No one knows what to do.
You broke through the woods and ran towards the Bounty. Dr Julien safely dropped down from the ship and ran towards you. Tai-D was within his arm.
"What was that sound?!" Dr Julien asked. He glanced between the many of you. "...Where's Echo? And Nya?"
"They have both been taken by the Overlord, but we will get them back," Sensei sternly responded. "There are much bigger things at stake!"
"The Celestial Clock has reached zero," Misako further explained. "Garmadon's ultimate weapon has been completed and the Final Battle has begun."
Lloyd's arms around your neck tightened. "It's all my fault..."
You tensed up and winced at the pain. Lloyd's hold quickly relaxed.
"Lloyd," Sensei stood before you.
Lloyd shifted behind you as he faced his uncle.
"Your focus gives you strength to invoke your newfound power of the Golden Dragon," Sensei continued. "You cannot lose faith now!"
"You saw what happened when I tried to fight him!" Lloyd argued. "I can't do it! I can't hurt my dad!"
"You must," Sensei urged. "The fate of Ninjago rests upon your shoulders."
"Remember," Misako stood by your side, "your father is just as scared..."
Lloyd shied away from Misako's presence. He held onto your form tighter.
"The battle will be decided by who is willing to fight," Sensei stated. "You must not give up, Lloyd."
You did your best to looked back at Lloyd, only being able to see a blur of blond at the corner of your vision. "This is going to be the hardest thing you'll ever do, Lloyd," You stated, "but I'll be here for you until the end."
"Don't forget about us," Kai stepped forward. "We'll be right behind you, Lloyd. You have my Fire."
"You've got my Earth," Cole added.
"And my Ice," Zane continued.
"And Lightning!" Jay quietly cheered.
"We'll all be here for you, Lloyd," You assured. "We won't let you down, and we won't give up."
Lloyd sniffed as he wiped as his face. "...Promise me one more thing..."
"Yes, Lloyd?" You softly asked.
"That we'll see Pirate and Polar when we get home..."
"Of course," You promised from the bottom of your heart. "We'll see Pirate and Polar again, and we'll have fun celebrating with everyone back home."
Lloyd wiped at his eyes one last time. "Okay... Okay. Let's go."
You quickly nodded. "Let's get going."
The others led the way towards Garmadon's campsite. You ran after them, Lloyd still upon your back. His quiet sobs have dissipated, and he did his best to stop sniffling every now and then. You kept your breathing as even as you could as you trailed after your friends.
The campsite appeared just up ahead. The gates were locked shut. Your four ninja friends drew their Elemental Blades and charged.
"Ninja, go!"
