A female teacher was about to leave the staff room, Darsh came inside.

She asked, " Mr. Agarwal? The school is over. "

" I was outside to pick my daughter up. I usually wait for her over there. "

" Didn't Anaya see you? "

" No. I don't even have her friends' contact number to ask about her that's why I came to you here. "

" Let me call her friend, Tanya. "

She dialled Tanya's contact number. The phone rang multiple times but no one attended the call. She dialled again but in vain.

Darsh walked out of the school. He received a phone call from an unknown number. He looked at his phone and attended the call.

" Dad? " Anaya said over the phone.

He replied, " Anaya? Where are you? "

Inspector Yuvraj's voice came over the phone.

" Mr. Agarwal. You've already lost your better half three months ago. In order to redeem yourself you won't let your daughter die. "

" You are not going to hurt her. "

" Obviously not. I see what you did with Mr. Joshi. Keeping him in a dark basement for three days. "

" And I did see you running away after murdering the man who was sent after me to kill me. "

Yuvraj chuckled, " You got me? "

" The day when I saw you at Naina's murder spot, I was able to see deception in your eyes which everyone had unnoticed. "

" You are short on time Mr. Agarwal. You'll receive a text within next five minutes. "

The phone was hung up by Yuvraj.

Dr. Harit and Akash went upstairs to Akash's flat. They opened the door and entered inside. They were startled to see Inspector Ghosh who was lying on the ground and was bleeding from his waist.

Dr. Harit examined his pulse rate.

He said, " He is alive. Get a cloth to cover his wound to stop his bleeding. "

Akash handed over him a towel which was on his right table. Harit removed Ghosh's upper from his waist and covered wound from the towel.

Akash bent down to him.

Dr. Harit said, " Press it tightly. I am going to bring my kit. "

Akash got his hands on the towel and pressed it tightly. Dr. Harit left the room and ran downstairs to bring his medic kit.

Mr. Vikramjeet Arora received a cash payment from his customer on the shooting range when it was early evening. He went inside his gun shop and kept the cash in his box. The door was opened by a visitor who came near to him.

Mr. Arora was counting cash on his table when the visitor was on the table.

He said, " Sorry. We are closed now. "

He kept counting the cash but the visitor didn't leave. Mr. Arora stopped counting and turned his head up to see the visitor who was Darsh Agarwal.

Mr. Arora asked, " Mr. Agarwal?... Is everything all right? "

Darsh shook his head.

He replied, " No. "

" Something wrong? "

Darsh didn't reply.

Mr. Arora asked, " Anaya? "

Darsh nodded his head slightly.

" I am in a desperate need to get help from you. "

Mr. Arora sighed, " Haven't been to battlefield for sixteen years. "

Dr. Harit and Akash made Inspector Ghosh to lay on his bed. Dr. Harit had applied the gauze bandage on his wound on the waist.

Akash asked, " Is he fine? "

Dr. Harit replied, " He'll be soon better. Our arrival was a fortune for his life. "

Harit received a call from his sister Divya and he went to the balcony to talk to her. Akash picked up the wallet of Ghosh from the bed. Upon searching he found his police ID card.

Dr. Harit told Divya, " It can take me two to three days to come back home. "

" You had told me that you would be here by next morning. "

" I was on my plan but I believe that Mr. Bansal hasn't been recovered yet. I have to with him until he gets better. "

" Are you sure? "

" Yes. "

Akash went through his cupboard to check his belongings. He pulled a drawer from his wardrobe. There was an envelope inside. The sender was labeled with the name of Akash's company where he used to work as an auditor.

He tore the envelope and pulled out the paper. He was shocked to see the letter as he realised that it was a termination letter from the company. The reason was his absence for three months from the company without any written intimation.

He went to his living room where a landline phone was placed on the table by the wall. He took out his diary from the drawer of the table. He opened the diary and searched for the contact number of his HR manager.

He dialled a number from the diary. The HR Manager Miss. Shivalika Dubey.

She attended the call.

She asked, " Hello! "

Akash asked, " Am I talking to Miss Shivalika Dubey? "

" Please. "

" My name is Akash Bansal. I have been employed as the senior audit manager in your firm for last eight years. "

" Okay? May I know your employee ID? "

" Yes.... Its 6_6_0_8_4_9. "

After a pause.

She said, " Mr. Bansal, we tried to contact you via your e-mail id as well as the letter. You didn't respond to our mail. "

" Actually I had met with an accident and I was in coma for last three months. "

Shivalika expressed her sorrow.

" Sorry to hear that Mr. Bansal. None of your closed ones told us about your accident. "

" I have received the termination letter from your department. "

" It would be revoked once you forward us your medical reports which would be evidence for the cause of your long term absence from the company. "

Akash hung up the call.

At night, Darsh arrived at a roadside of the town. He got his phone to his ears. Inspector Yuvraj was connected to his phone from the other end.

Darsh said, " I am here. "

Yuvraj replied, " Keep walking unless the end comes. "

Darsh kept on walking parallel to the road among the shops and pedestrians. He arrived at the end of the road. He looked on his left. Ritika walked of a mobile shop to him.

Darsh asked, " You here? "

She chuckled, " I am afraid what they are going to do with you? "

" Sorry? "

A city bus stopped at the bus stand which was a distance away from him.

She said, " Get on the bus. "

" What? "

" I have instructions. Get on the bus right now. "

The phone vibrated. He attended the call.

Yuvraj told him over the phone, " Follow her instructions Mr. Agarwal. "

The phone was hung up. He looked at her in a baffling manner.

He said, " You are too involved! "

" Indeed. "

Darsh ran to the bus stand and boarded the bus.
