Meredith has grown accustomed to her new life.

She and Addison were inseparable until Addison had to leave for Med school. Her and Archer weren't as close as her and Addison but that didn't mean he didn't love her, he was actually even an overprotective brother when he needs to, that's why Meredith loves him just as much.

Meredith was only 9 years old when she met Amelia. Her family just moved in next door. They were the same age and both equally as smart. So it wouldn't take a genius to know why they just clicked.

They were they for each other through thick and thin. They even considered them each others person.

Mer and Amelia skipped grades together. And now they are in the 9th grade.

Being the youngest students in the class wasn't easy. The were picked on for being too young and having big brains but since they had each other they didn't mind.

As they reached senior year, they broke records for being the two youngest people to have ever graduated high school.

The captain, Archer, Addison, and Bizzy were all so happy as the both of  them go get their deplomas on stage.

Amelia was the youngest of 5, so she was pretty much already left out. Her siblings all already had jobs and families. That is why only Derek, her brother and Mother Carolyn could attend.

The Montgomerys pretty much took Amelia under their wing and treated her as family when she felt she didn't have any.

Mer never really liked Derek, he always seemed so controlling and manipulative towards everybody. Sure he's got that charm but she always got an off vibe with him whenever she'd go over to Amelia's. This is the reason why Mer absolutely hated him even more when Addie introduced him to her as her boyfriend when she came home for Thanksgiving one time.

Moving on, Amelia and Meredith decided since they're so far ahead they could take a year or two traveling the globe with just the two of them. So they booked plane tickets to Europe with whatever savings they had from lunch money and babysitting jobs.

Archer who was a resident now, obviously neglected the idea of two fifteen-year-olds traveling the world alone for a year.

"The hell Meredith!? Why didn't you ask anyone about this? Sure you skipped a couple of grades, doesn't mean you can already handle yourself on your own. Does Cap or Bizzy know about this? " Archer yells at his baby sister through the phone.

Meredith already regretting telling him first, countered,"No they don't, and I was supposed to tell them today, it just so happens that I accidentally gave the airline company your email making you the first to know."

"First to know what?" Bizzy yells out as she and the Captain came back from a local conference.

Bizzy snatches the phone from Mer's hand and talked to Archer. "Archer what's wrong?"  he was practically screaming through the phone, "Well smarty-pants over here thinks-" Meredith quickly clicked the end call button "Bye Archieeee"

Smarty-pants? Woah- he's really mad Meredith thought to her self. As goofy as it sounds that nickname meant he was really really mad.

"Meredith what's going on?" Bizzy and the Captain looked at her now worried.

"It's nothing to worry about, Amelia and I just thought that since we are way ahead we can take a year or two off school to travel. Drama queen over there thinks it's the worst idea ever." Meredith explains trying to not show her parents that she might actually pee her pants now, thinking of how they would react.

"It is a good idea, but we have admit that you girls are way too young travel on your own." The Captain tries to reason with her.

"Come on Cap, you both know that we aren't that irresponsible. You made me have body guards since the very first time I stepped foot on this mansion. Hell, I can't even go to Amelia's without Collins or Sawyer (body guard names). So of course we would be taking them." Meredith explains.

"What does Addison think about this?" Bizzy asks.

"She's absolutely on board with the idea." Mer lies through her teeth.

"Yeah OK- sure so when your brother decides to call her she wouldn't sound just as surprised and mad as everybody other than you right now? you're telling me the sister who wouldn't even let you ride a bike without all the pads she can possibly give you, is letting you go on this trip alone? You're saying that in about 7 seconds Addison wouldn't be calling and yelling about how absurd this plan of yours is?" Bizzy tries saying this as calmly as she possibly could while stepping closer and closer to the girl she considered her youngest child.

"Uhm-" As if on cue, the phone rings and Captain and Meredith raced through the room to the phone and thankfully Mer won.

"Hi Forbes-Montgomery Mansion, what can I do for you today?" Mer quickly answered panting from running, talking while trying to avoid eye contact with the two guardians standing before her.

"MEREDITH CATHERINE GREY-MONTGOMERY!"
