More often than not, all it takes is one wrong move before everything comes crashing down around you.

"Meredith? Meredith? Can you hear me?"

Like that game Jenga, all it takes is picking the wrong block and you lose the whole game.

"Meredith, I'm going to need you to try and stay awake for me,"

Or in chess, your every move should be calculated while your opponent's moves should be anticipated.

"Mer it's me, don't give up on us now,"

As I said, all it takes is One. Wrong. Move.

"Meredith!" Amelia yells out before barging into Meredith's room.

"I've got to talk to you," She says plopping down beside a weak-looking Meredith who was sitting on the edge of the bed.

"What's up?" Mer says as she plasters on a weak smile,

"I've been seeing someone, she's a great someone. Apart from the Amazing sex, she's been giving these past few days, she's a great person to talk to, considering I haven't been seeing you much she's made a pretty solid replacement," Amelia points out, "And she had just given me the go signal to tell you so, I was wondering if you'd meet her? Tonight?" Amelia asks with puppy eyes.

Speechless for a few seconds, Meredith looked at her best friend and said, "Sure! Where am I meeting her?"

Please say here, please say here. Meredith thought to herself.

"Over at her place, is that cool?"

Shit.

"Sure! Text me the address. I just have to stop by the hospital real quick to see Bailey then I'll head over there,"

"That's great! Wait- what are you doing at the hospital? We get a day off every Blue Moon and you go on back to the hospital?" Amelia asks suspiciously.

"Bailey texted that I messed up one of her charts so I've got to go redo it," she lies through her teeth.

"Just on time Montgomery. You look better," Bailey says to her.

"I wish I felt it. Let's get this over with," Meredith scoffs.

"I don't see anyone from your large village joining us, I take it you haven't told them yet," Bailey raises her eyebrows at her as she took the necessary samples.

"I will tell them, Bailey, I just need more time,"

"Honey, if you had that, I wouldn't be up your ass about them being with you," she puts the samples in a vial. "I'm serious Meredith, I don't give a damn about who you tell, but I am going to page Shepherd about this, and if they find out that way it is beyond my word,"

Meredith just stays silent as Bailey continued to get other samples.

After she was done at the hospital, she went on and drove to the address Amelia texted her.

As she was driving she felt a sudden shock of pain right in the forehead and in one swift motion, she lost control of the wheel as she seized right then and there.

BAM!

"Where could she be? She said she was on her way," Amelia says frantically looking out the window of Arizona's apartment.
