"Took you long enough"

Mer stood there frozen looking over at the being in front of her. The patient had a cut lip, black eye, broken arm, bruised chest, and those were all only seen by the naked eye. She hasn't found out yet what was happening internally.

"What happened?" Her expression turned cold as she asked Bizzy. "She was found on her hotel room floor bruised and banged up."

"You think I'm bad you should see the other guy" Addison looked up and saw her favorite person is finally back. "Who did this to you Addie?" Mer says assessing how messed up she was up close.

"What? You won't tell me how the trip went? Where's Amelia?" As she keeps asking this, Mer couldn't take her eyes off of everything her sister's feeling right now. Bizzy, and everyone else cleared the room the moment she and Addison started talking.

"Derek did this to you didn't he? I'm gonna kill him" Mer quickly got up and was about to find the son of a bitch, until she felt a frail arm try to stop her.

"Mer don't." Addie says trying to find her little sister inside this rageful machine she's holding.

"No Addison, don't tell me to stop. I've been telling you for months, if not years, how messed up this guy is. And yet you always say that he is great. And I believed you, because I trusted YOU and I gave him the benefit of the doubt because he was Amy's brother."

Mer says looking into addison's eyes trying to keep composure and continues on.

"and now he did this to you, and all I could think about was how deranged I must be to leave him with you while I tried to fulfill some kind of need I have to enjoy life. When I should've been here or the least I could've done was answer that damn phone call."

Now for the first time since she's seen addison she broke down and hugged her, and Addie just hugged her back.

"I'm sorry Addie, I was stupid, and I am sorry for not answering your calls." Mer just kept weeping.

"Mer come on, this isn't your fault, it's that bastard's fault. If anything, you were the one who kept me alive. The thought of you and how strong you are made me strong enough to lunge back at him."

-------------------------

"Mer? MER-MEREDITH!" Amelia shakes her awake then Mer jolts up.

"What? where am I? Where is Addie?" Mer looks at Amelia who is very confused as to why she keeps mentioning Addison.

"Mer? We're still Ireland remember? We leave for Connecticut in two days." that's when she realizes that they were still in their small Ireland suite and what ever she's seen was just a twisted game her mind was  playing on her.

"Right, where's my phone? I haven't called everyone back yet after my phone died last night" Mer says standing up and frantically starts looking for her phone.

"Mer are you alright? You've rustling in your sleep all night. Asking for Addie." Amelia asks concerned for her best friend.

"Yeah I just had the worst dream, I'll tell you about it later. I'll just give them a call first."

Amelia nods and heads to the shower while Meredith finally finds her phone, and quickly dials "Addie"

"Good to know your still alive." Addison sarcastically answers.

"Hey are you OK?" Mer shrugs of her sarcastic comment and asks.

"I'm fine-Wait shouldn't I be the one asking you that? Where were you last night, why haven't you been answering any of our calls?" Addison asks trying to remain calm despite her being so mad about it.

"Is that Mer?" a voice joined the background, Meredith knew almost too quickly who it was.

"Good luck" Addie whispers on the phone before handing it over to Archer.

"Hey smarty-pants! Sawyer told me about the party you guys went to last night. Care to elaborate?" Archer all but yells through the phone while Addison listened intently on the side.

Meredith relived the events of last night and she seems to remember it right and that's where it hit her. HAYES. What if Collins or Sawyer saw them leave together and reported it to the Captain or even worse, ARCHER.
What if that is why there also frantic. Meredith started to panic herself.

"OK I'll only explain this once so you better put this on speaker. Some locals here invited us for a party at the local rec center. So we went, had some drinks, danced, and basically had fun, which from what I remember is kind of the reason we did the traveling in the first place. Anyways, I didn't realized that I had my phone turned off that is why I couldn't answer any of your phone calls" Mer explained, of course leaving out that the certain 'local' who invited them is the reason their little sister isn't so 'little' anymore. She left this out because there might be some miracle that the body guards were distracted enough to not notice the most significant event of this trip.

Addison and Archer seemed to have bought it since they didn't ask anymore questions.

-----------------------------------

It was finally time for them to head back home to Connecticut. As fun as this was Mer and Amelia already missed home.

A/N: Again 112 reads is amazing enough for me thank you and here are the questions.

How do we like the story so far?

So I want to hear what you think I should do from here. Because I've made 9 chapters in one day.

Would you like to see Mer in a straight or gay relationship?

How do you want these next few chapters to pan out since her and Amelia will finally start undergrad in Dartmouth.

I said it once, I'll say it again, any and all medical jargon found in this book are not in any way reliable.
