"Meredith Catherine Grey-Montgomery, would you grant me this favor and let me be your husband?"

"Hey Mer, I'm snatching your perfume from your purse," Amelia calls out while Mer changes into scrubs.

Amelia digs into Meredith's purse when something else catches her attention. "OH MY GOD MEREDITH WHERE DID YOU GET THIS ROCK?" Amelia screams out, thankfully it was only her and Christina who was in the locker room. Christina of course quickly runs over to Amelia to see what all the commotion was about.

"Where did you- Did Jackson propose?" Christina looks over at Mer who was now walking over to them. Amelia completely changed her expression when she heard it was Jackson who gave the ring.

Amelia KNOWS something.

"He did, and uhm- we're engaged now," Meredith says snatching the ring box from their hands and placing it back in her bag, and closing her locker.

"You say you are but your face says otherwise." Christina points out. "I love him and everything. We've been together for God knows how long but we're only interns, we've still got the rest of our careers left. And with everything happening now, finding out Ellis Grey was my mother. I was so ready to say no when suddenly a yes is what was formed" Meredith explained.

"Wait back up! you found out Ellis Grey is your Mother? I mean it would explain the Grey that follows your name around but still, Ellis Grey is your biological mother?" Amelia says. Their pagers go off before Meredith could spill any tea.

"Yang, Burke. O'Malley, Shepherd. Shepherd, Montgomery-Shepherd. Gey-Montgomery, Sloan. Karev, Pit. Stevens, Scut. SCRAM." Bailey gives their assignments and they went off.

"Good Morning Dr. Sloan!" Meredith calls out to him at the nurses' station. "Montinette! How's the boyfriend?" Mark asks playfully while discreetly checking her out. "He's ok? uhm- Megan Riley is already prepped in OR 4 for the Breast Augmentation." Meredith says, confused as to why he was asking that.

They went into surgery and Mark let Meredith do the first incision and close.  He was genuinely impressed by her talent, and it was not just because he was growing to like her. "You have impeccable talent Montinette. Ever considered pursuing plastics? With hands as graceful as yours, you'd be a natural."  Meredith just smiles because she hasn't thought of what specialty she'll be getting but she never thought of plastics. 

"Besides I want to see what other things those hands are capable of" Mark whispers as he steps out of the scrub room. Was he- no he couldn't-, he wouldn't- and if he did, I'm with Jackson, we're happy and we're engaged for God's sakes! Get your head back in the game Meredith! Meredith thought to herself while not realizing that she was still scrubbing.

"Hey, Addie! I'm your intern for today." Amelia calls out to Addison in her office. "oh ok, I don't have anything scheduled today so could you just help me finish these postops?" Addison tells her while not taking her eyes off the charts. Amelia just nods and gets half of the charts piled on her desk. "Hey, Addie? I need to tell you something but you shouldn't tell anyone, especially Meredith." Amelia looks at her closing the office door. Addison just nods and continues to chart. "Meredith and Jackson are engaged when they shouldn't be because he's been cheating on her for the better part of their relationship and I tried to tell her when I realized it was him who gave her the ring in her purse, but then she drops the bomb about Ellis Grey being her mother-" Amelia rambles when she was cut off by Addison.

"Meredith and Jackson are ENGAGED?" Addison slams the chart shut and looks at her. "Yeah wait- You didn't know? I figured when she didn't tell me or Christina, she'd tell you." Amelia looks at her confused as to why her best friend was hiding pretty big news. "Do I look like someone in the know? And how long have you known about the cheating? and how is she sure that Ellis is her mother?" Addie dishes out question after question. 

"Calm down a little, will you? Jackson has been cheating on her since Med School, I tried telling her a bunch of times but she wouldn't listen, and she was about to explain everything when we were paged. Wait a minute- It sounds like you know something about the cheating, Do you know something?" Amelia explains and counters her questions. "I do. I caught Jackson and Stevens doing it in an on-call room yesterday, hold on- When did he propose?" Addison asks another question. "From the looks of it, I'd say right after she found out about Ellis because she did say she was going to say no but then ended up saying yes," Amelia explains. Addison stood up and walked to the door and stormed out. 

"Addie-Addison, DR. MONTGOMERY-SHEPHERD!" Amelia says rushing after her. "Addison, I said we wouldn't be telling Meredith anything," Amelia says when she had enough and pulls Addison to a halt. "Who said we were going to Meredith?" Addison looks at her annoyed. "Oh," Amelia says before just following Addison to wherever she was planning on going. 

"Dr. Robbins, Could I borrow Dr. Avery for one second?" Addison asks as they see Jackson with Arizona in the NICU. Robbins just nods, and Amelia pulls Jackson out in the hallway. "Hey! Let go of me, will you? What is your problem?" Jackson protests. "You PROPOSED!?" Addison whisper yells at him who was now smirking realizing what this is about. "Yes I did and you can't do anything about it because she already said yes." Jackson still grinning. "Who's to say she won't give the ring back after we tell her that you are a big pig?" Amelia almost started throwing hands seeing his smug face. "She will if you'll tell her, which I'm pretty sure you won't because from what I heard she's received some pretty devastating news, so now she's in a dark place, and since you two are her sisters, I know you wouldn't want to give her any more news that could send her over the edge just like she did last time. Now if you'll excuse me, the tiny humans are calling me." Jackson walked out victoriously with the biggest smirk on his face. Amelia was about to physically attack him if not for Addison who was holding her steady.
