I decided I didn't want to prolong the undergrad and med school storyline bc I thought it'd be boring and just rush into them being interns but of course if you guys would want some bs of that time then I'd be happy to fit it into one of these chapters.
Age Update: Meredith and Amelia: 25 Jackson: 27 Addison: 37 Archer: 39

Meredith and Amelia practically just flew through college and med school.
Jackson and Meredith started dating during their second year. Of course she introduced him formally to her family. Addison was skeptical at first but eventually gave in to him, Bizzy and The Captain only threatened Jackson but they seemed to like him, but Archer was the most against it to the point it almost strained his relationship with Meredith but later he learned to be civil with him.
Addison got married to Derek after 2 years of being engaged, and were now both working in Seattle Grace Memorial Hospital as a Double board certified Fetal and Neonatal Surgeon and a World Class Neurosurgeon respectively. They were also dubbed as the hospital power couple.
Just like how Addison warmed up to Jackson, Meredith decided to warm up to Derek as well. He was going to be her brother-in-law after all. Eventually, they grew close and Amelia fixed her and her brother's issues and now she considers him family again.

Meredith and Amelia had loads of offers from different hospitals including Seattle Grace. It was back and forth but they narrowed it down to Mayo and Seattle Grace.
"You know if we pick Mayo, we'd be as far away from our Family as possible." Amelia says jokingly.
"Yeah, but if we pick Seattle Grace, we'd be the closest to family possible. Plus, Jackson says that's where he'll be going." Meredith Counters.
After some time, they gave up trying to do this on their own so they did the most logical thing to do.

"Ok so you know the rules, we do it three times and which ever has the most outcomes is our final decision, no declining" Amelia reminds her of the conditions of using their method.
"OK so, you and I do the first two and if it's a tie we'll find someone in this house to draw it for us." Meredith says in the most serious tone, despite this being a childish game.
First draw Meredith did the choosing, it went GREEN-THREE-FIVE.
Mayo
Next, Amelia did ORANGE-FIVE-TWO.
Seattle Grace
"You've got to be kidding me." Amelia says disappointed.
"Whatever come on." Mer says pulling her out the room and roaming around the mansion looking for anyone to draw their fate.
At the end of the hall they saw Archer who was just leaving his home office.
Archer was now a hot-shot neurologist and he was known all over the world so he had a pretty loose schedule, which is why he was home the most lately.
"Archie!" Meredith calls out.
"What is it Mer?"
"Draw this for us" Meredith says and Amelia hands the fortune teller over to him.
"What are you guys 12?" Archer asks looking at them like they've lost it.
"Archer the fate of the world depends on it" Amelia exaggerates.
"Well not the world exactly, but it is pretty important." Meredith tries to downplay Amelia's exaggeration.
"Come on you guys, I've got st-" Archer tries reasoning but ends up being cut off.
"ARCHER!" the twisted sisters yelled.
"Alright" Archer gives in.
Archer drew the teller and they both chose with 2 minute intervals per decision and everytime Archer tries butting in they just shush him.
PURPLE-EIGHT-ONE were their final choices.
"Seattle Gr- oh so this is what this is about. You could've just asked me you know." Archer says realizing why they were extra crazy today.
"I guess it's Seattle Grace" Mer says facing Amelia. "Yeah Seattle Grace"
With that, they scurried off back to Mer's room.

Meredith and Amelia arrived at Seattle and Jackson the following day after.
"Mer-Mer!" Addison screeched as they reunite in the Airport.
"Addie what's wrong with you? No one hasn't used that nickname since the dawn of time." Mer says cringing at her old nickname while still reaching out to hug her big sister.
"What can't I just be happy to see my sister?" Addie says not letting go of the hug while Derek and Amelia also reunited beside them.
They all got acquainted and went to eat some lunch before heading off to their apartment.
The three of them start their internship on Monday so they still had 2 days to settle in.

"Hey Mer, I missed you!" Jackson says while feeling her up before planting a long and deep kiss on her lips. Though surprised, Meredith just happily kissed back with Amelia disgusted on the side.
"Geez get a room." Amelia says annoyed before carrying a box into her room. Amelia never liked Jackson, he was always so smug and they butted heads on almost everything.
They got settled in and before they knew it, it was Monday.

Meredith, Amelia, and Jackson headed straight over to the intern lockers. They no longer had the time to look for Addison or Derek.
"You got the Nazi right?" Amelia asks and Mer replied, "Yeah, Jackson got Torres though" Amelia fakes a smile because she couldn't care less about where Jackson was assign to.
"Can you imagine only 6 women out of 20?" a curly haired brunette said just beside them. "Yeah and I heard one of them is a model. Seriously you think that'll help with the respect thing" Amelia comments.
"Amelia Shepherd, you're Christina right from the mixer?" Amelia introduces herself to the woman. "Yeah and you're Meredith, the woman who downed pretty much a whole bottle of tequila with no chaser at the open bar?" Christina says looking over to Meredith. "Guilty as charged." the three of them giggled as they changed into scrubs.
