Tobirama was staying on the opposite side of the Hokage's residence, because he didn't want to be anywhere near Hashirama and Madara. . . Just the thought of the two of them staying in the same room made him want to throw up. He wanted to save himself from the trauma of witnessing anything revolting, so he distanced himself from them. He was sitting on the edge of the bed, writing things out on paper and then crumbling it up. It was no good - even after hours of consideration, he couldn't come up with a single alternative to the flawed Reanimation jutsu. He put his head in his hands, frustrated, then punched the wall. He had spent so much time working on that jutsu, just for it to come to this. . .

A moment later, the Senju heard a knock on his door. He slowly got up and opened it, making a face when he saw his brother hanging onto the Uchiha.

"Ughh, go away." As he closed the door, he added shamelessly, "Brother, if you are drunk, this is not your room. And please, don't do anything with the Uchiha." He made a disgusted face, then sat back in bed.

Hashirama laughed, opening the door. He stood in the doorway and said, "Hey, I'm sober for once. I was just going to ask if you wanted to stand guard?"

Tobirama looked at his brother. "Ugh. Why can't the Uchiha stand guard?"

"Because, he's staying with me!"

Madara smirked a little at this - he knew this would piss off the Senju. He added, "That is right. I am staying with him."

"Are you sure you're sober, Hashirama?"

Hashirama smiled, "Positive! I only drank one bottle of sake. . . I'm completely sober."

Tobirama shook his head, "Enough of the sake. . . You need to drink something other than alcohol all the time." After a pause, he answered his brother's question, "And fine. I will stand guard, but on one condition - I stay here and use my sensory perception instead of standing outside your room."

"Deal," Hashirama agreed.

The Uchiha was smiling to himself - he was going to use this as a chance to torment Tobirama. "What are you so concerned about, though? Why not stand guard outside of the room?"

The younger Senju glared at him and said, "You know exactly why. I don't want to know what's going on between you two. . . But if you do anything to my brother, know that there will be consequences. Still, I would rather not know."

Madara played dumb. "What do you mean, something between us?"

Tobirama rolled his eyes. "Stop acting like you don't know. There's definitely something," he gestured vaguely, ". . . Going on between you two. First, with Hashirama's chakra, and now this. . ."

What the hell is he talking about? Madara thought to himself.

He asked, genuinely interested, "What do you mean by 'this'?"

Tobirama just glared at him again and said, "I thought you had sensory skills, too, and you still haven't noticed? Ask my brother if you're that concerned. Anyway, I would rather not be involved in his. . . Personal ordeals." He made another disgusted face.
