36: Tobilogic

Madara smiled to himself and looked up at the full moon. "We should stay here tonight. It is a full moon, after all. . . An opportunity such as this was rare, remember?"

Hashirama smiled and looked into the Uchiha's eyes. He didn't say anything, but his look was full of love and amusement.

"What? Why are you looking at me like that?" Madara blushed and pushed the Senju away.

"Because I love you. . . I agree. Let's stay here." Hashirama put his arms back around the Uchiha and kissed him.

Madara kissed him back, then froze. Hashirama looked at him questioningly; Madara just raised a hand and looked around, concerned. He slowly got to his feet, gesturing for Hashirama to stay where he was. He stood still and closed his eyes, trying to sense where the foreign presence was. Then, he swiftly ran across the river and into the woods. He jumped up and slammed down onto what he was sensing, pinning it to the ground.

"What the hell are you doing here?" Madara growled.

Tobirama glared at him and pushed the Uchiha away. He got up and dusted himself off, then said, "I came to tell my brother something. I sensed him here - why the hell are you in the outskirts of the village?" His eyes narrowed more, and he said, "I swear, if you were trying to hurt him-"

"Why in the hell would I do that?" Madara gritted his teeth.

"I can sense his emotions from his chakra. And yours, for that matter, since your chakras are. . ." He trailed off and made a disgusted face. "Anyway, he seemed upset. Then I sensed you here. . . I still don't trust you, Uchiha, whether we have to 'work together' or not."

"Well, the feeling is mutual. After all, you did murder my brother - whether it was accidental or not, and whether you bring him back or not will never change that fact."

Tobirama shifted uncomfortably and looked sadly at the ground. He quickly composed himself and glared, "Say what you will, but I do regret it. You wouldn't understand, anyway."

Madara activated his Sharingan and grabbed Tobirama's shoulders. He shouted, tears forming in his eyes, "You are hiding something about Izuna, this confirms it! Tell me what the hell you know about my brother!"

Hashirama heard faint shouting coming from the woods, and he knew something was wrong. The sudden anger and panic that flared up in himself proved that Madara was in a bad situation - he could feel the Uchiha's emotions.

Damnit, brother. . . Hashirama thought to himself. He knew there was only one person who could cause Madara to feel such strong hatred and anger - Tobirama.

The Senju rushed over and saw Madara gripping Tobirama's shoulders, shouting something about Izuna. Hashirama quickly broke them up and held Madara close to him. The Uchiha had tears running down his face, and he kept trying to lunge towards Tobirama.
