They were closely engaged in taijutsu - Madara was easily able to dodge the Senju's moves with his Sharingan, however, he still had to fight defensively. After a while, he finally managed to get on the offensive, and he used his wind style to magnify a fire style jutsu. Hashirama struggled to put out the fire with his water style, but he quickly regained the advantage with wood style. They continued like that for several minutes, until Madara brought his Susano'o into the fight.
I guess I have to get serious. . . Time for my secret technique, Hashirama thought to himself. He used his wood style to evade Madara's attacks and managed to get directly in front of Madara. The Uchiha started to weave hand signs, but Hashirama caught him off guard - he hugged him.
Hashirama held Madara close and kissed him, then mumbled, "I love you, Mada. Can't we get along?"
Madara's Susano'o slowly faded away and he kissed the Senju back. He couldn't think straight - Hashirama was overwhelming his senses, as he always did when they were close.
"I love you, too. . ." Madara smiled. Hashirama just stayed there, holding him.
After a few moments, Madara finally realized what was going on. "HEY, ASSHOLE!! YOU CANNOT TAKE ADVANTAGE OF MY FEELINGS!!!!!"
Hashirama scratched his head and said, "But it worked, didn't it? That was my new super secret technique - Cute Style: Genuine Manipulation, haha!!"
Madara grumbled, "You seriously named it?"
"Why wouldn't I, I knew it would be effective-"
"HEY!" Madara smacked him again, then sat down against a tree. He looked up at the full moon and sighed - he really had chosen to settle for an idiot. . . He couldn't believe it. But at the same time, he was finally starting to feel some happiness and fulfillment. . . So, was it really so bad to settle for an idiot?
"What are you thinking?" Hashirama sat beside him and followed his gaze. "Wow, the moon is really bright tonight. . ."
"It is always bright."
"Not when it's a new moon!"
"But the sun is still bright, which is what provides the moon with its light."
"Haha, that rhymed!"
"Whatever."
"Hey. . . What's wrong? Are you alright?" Hashirama asked.
Madara sighed a little and said, "Yes. . . I am fine. Just thinking. . ."
"Hey. . . Remember that time, with the full moon?" Hashirama smiled.
The Uchiha laughed a little and said, "You are more reminiscent than usual, lately. . . But yes, I remember."
